It is a long time since I had read "Mirror Image" so I wondered whether it would feel dated. The answer is no.The details might be late twentieth century but the plot is typical Sandra Brown: taut, gripping and with a superb twist at the end.Well worth a second read.

Absolutely Loved It!
This author was suggested to me by another reader. This is my first book by this author and I absolutely loved it. There was suspense and murder but there was just as much romance with it, which I really appreciated.I would highly recommend this book as an absolute great read. I think it has spoiled me as what to read next.

Gripping from the beginning to the end. Could hardly put this book down. Excellent storyline.
Story was different and compelling. The twist towards the end hit the right note. Five star rating justly deserved. Brilliant.

Good but not her best
A good read..keeps you guessing. keeps your attention, but (without giving too much away) a little unrealistic how easy people accept events.

really good read
I really enjoyed this story, it was longer than usual, but I wanted to keep going. It was exciting, never tedious, story line was good, so too the characters. More like this would be wonderful, please bring 'em on !

A Compelling Read.
I hadn't read a Sandra Brown novel for a while and even though the thought of such a mix up with some one's identity was a bit of a troublesome concept for me, it was well justified and well developed throughout. I was surprised to enjoy the story so much.

AMAZING.......a must read
I have never done one of these before, but had to this time.I hold my hands up. I am generally a Romance reader, so I loved the fact that in this both the mystery and intrigue were partnered with the romance. For me it just added that extra something to a genre that lets face it, is a bit samey. Fabulous. Do read it!

Very good read
I really liked the story, the build up to the conclusion. The characters were believed although a tiny bit far fetched. All in all it was entertaining and kept my interest to the end. I would read other books of this author. It did leave one character without a conclusion, but it was a minor issue.

shattered narration
When Avery finally leaves the hospital near the middle of this volume, looking exactly like the wife of a future senator, I was thirsty for the real suspense to kick in, as she had by now learned about her "husband's" danger and resolved to save him, but instead of digging more in order to determine who were plotting along with the true Carole to assassinate this man, all her efforts are aimed at screwing him. Avery's supposed to be an investigative journalist, for crying out loud! And yet, once she finds herself entirely at her leisure to go and do whatever she may fancy, she shows up at her husband's office whining about not having enough options to while away her time, which in turn suggests to me that the author ran out of ideas. When Avery decided to give up the scoop and renounce her identity for the sake of mending the wounds of a perfect stranger I lost all interest in the story.

Sehr spannend
