Lion Brand Yarn(3 Pack) Ferris Wheel Wild Violets

Pretty colors
I bought this color way for the main color for the Night Shift Shawl by Andrea Mowrey. I love how it changed from pink to brown to a bit of purple. You can see sections of it in the shawl. The con with the Ferris Wheel yarn is that it is really sticky. It got tangled and knitted easily. Also, the finished object got a lot of pilling, but I guess that is common for most well-loved knitted projects.

NOT a medium weight (4)
This product Is labeled medium weight (4) but is much, much thinner than other 4 weight yarns I have used. I had intended to use this with another medium weight yarn but the difference in yarn size will not work. When I tried to return it, I learned that returns are handled by Lion Brand, not by Amazon, and that I would have to pay for return shipping. Since return shipping is nearly half the price of the yarn, I am very unhappy with the transaction.

Soft
I really liked the feel of the yarn. I used it to make a market bag and it came out really well. I'm thinking I might have to get more since I love how this project came out with this colorful and soft yarn.It was difficult to unravel to fix some mistakes but thats really all I can say bad about it. Its good and I like that it comes in a 3 pack.

Pretty color combo
Beautiful color combo within a ball of yarn. I used this colorway as contrasting color to make the Nightshift shawl and the Flicker and Flame hat by Andrea Mowrey. The cons of this yarn is that it is really sticky. It can get knotted. It was a pain to frog. Also, it pills easily but that’s common with a well loved garment.

Perfect match
I work with wooden crochet and knitting needles and the yarn was very easy to manipulate. Nice soft feel. Love the finished project.
