On an Alien b800 I have to shoot at 2.8 on full blast to get this to show up, same with an Aputure 120d II. Not sure why it's so dark but not easy to work with. Also the 50mm would be better as a 24mm as you have to back the lights up quite a bit to get good coverage and doing that makes it even harder to get light out of.

Over heating was my only issue with a strobe light when modeling light is on. Have since moved it to a LED light resolved the issue.Overall I feel like it was a good purchase.

This optical snoot stops down the light way too much. I used a 320 watt studio strobe at full power and even that was not enough.

Buying it was a mistake, the quality of the optic is awful, the focus is never precise because of the poor quality of the lens. The accessories are flimsy. I am returning it and getting a different one.

This snoot suppresses the light that comes through almost completely. You will not get a spotlight circle from this. I had to return it, DO NOT BUY
