Great but leave a few days for 'break in' time before real use!
First few times it did start to 'lose air'. That's in quotes because it wasn't really losing air so much rather than the material expanding (which is stated on the insert that is provided). I was about to call the company, but filled it up on the 3rd night as a final test and it stayed completely firm. So, for those of you looking to buy this, make sure you give yourself 2-3 days of wear in time before taking it out camping or using it in your home. You'll be very impressed with this mattress!

We also took great care in where we set it up
We have used this air mattress camping twice during our annual camping trip for Memorial Day. We purchased this mattress in 2016. On the second time out (2017), the mattress had a slow leak and deflated overnight. We were very careful when transporting and storing the mattress. We also took great care in where we set it up, clearing the area of any potential hazards before setting up the tent and laying down the mattress. Very disappointing as we did a lot of research in finding the most durable and appropriate air mattress for the specific purpose of camping. This mattress cost more than others of similar specifications and has proven not to be worth the money. We will be purchasing a new mattress this year from a different brand.

Cracked while in storage!
Really disappointed in this product. I bought this air mattress because I am in the military and have to sleep on an air mattress after movers take all my things and then again before they deliver my furniture to my new station - so about 1-2 weeks total. This was only ever used inside on carpet. No pets. This air mattress worked great for my move 9 months ago. I took it back out a week ago, as I am getting ready to move again, and it had multiple holes from where simply being rolled up and stored (inside the climate controlled house!) for 9 months had caused the material to crack at places where it had been creased. It no longer holds air and there are too many cracks to patch. Great mattress if you never intend to store it!! ...So, 9 months later, I'll be forced to purchase another air mattress. It will not be this one.

Useless, cheap manufacturing, leaks and worthless pumps. Just buy sleeping pads and save yourself the backaches and ordeal.
Bought a queen and a twin for a 40-day car camping trip. What a disaster. Ended up just throwing them in a recycling bin about a third of the way in and buying proper foam pads from an REI, which cost a little more but actually worked. These were a total loss. Here's why these didn't work for my wife and me.Leaks. These things lose air. Every night all night. They tell you repeatedly that at first it will *look* like air loss, but really it's just the vinyl expanding. This is nonsense. They leak out the valves. Both ours leaked constantly. You can even hear it when someone is lying on it and you hold your ear close. I weighed about 270 at the start of the trip (250 at the end!) but these are rated, supposedly, to 500 lbs. We both would wake up 3-4 times a night sunken into our mattresses. This means you're in an awful posture and you will be aching. It also means you have to reinflate if you don't want to try to fall back asleep in a weird personal vinyl hammock or just sleep on the ground. But that's the opposite of a solution because of the terrible pumps.Useless pumps. They can't be operated plugged in to a wall. Only by charge. I didn't see this as a problem because, hey, we're camping. We don't have electricity. They come with car chargers, so I figured I'd just charge them as we drove during the day. We averaged between 6 and 7 hours of driving almost every day. Well guess what, these take a minimum of 10 hours to recharge. The company says they're good for several days of use, but that would only be true if you don't actually sleep on them. If you do that they'll need multiple refills each night, so you'll have an empty charge in the morning. Good luck charging it, because you'll never completely recharge it unless maybe if you can plug it in to charge immediately after you use it and leave it plugged in overnight. But how do you have reliable AC outlets if you're camping? We bought a high quality pump from a store a few days in because it became clear the supplied pumps are real pieces of cheap crap. Useless. It's unfortunate we didn't just give up on the beds, themselves pieces of cheap crap, at the same time. Once we bought normal camping pads, we slept great with no hassle. This is a horrible, horrible product, very, very cheaply manufactured and obviously with little thought to how it will actually be used.

Great customer service and a comfortable mattress!
I did a lot of tent camping last year and used a roll up exercise mat and decided it was time to upgrade. After lots of online shopping I decided on the Sound Asleep Camping mattress. My new tent is big enough for the queen size so I went for that. From the reviews I had read that stated that the mattress stretches the first night, making it feel like it loses air, I decided to air it up at home and leave it for a day to take care of that. When I went to do that I found that the pump had been damaged in shipping. It still worked but the charging receptacle had been broken ao I wouldn't be able to charge it. I contacted the manufacturer and they sent me a new pump right away. And they stayed in contact to make sure it got to me when it was supposed to! The new pump got here in time for the camping trip I had planned for this past weekend and I was all set. I figured that if the mattress was half as good as their customer service I was good to go.Since the temperature was supposed to get into the low 40s overnight and air mattresses don't usually offer any insulation from the cold ground I inflated the mattress, which takes maybe 3 minutes with the supplied pump, then I put a fitted sheet on it, then a blanket over that for insulation and then my sleeping bag on top of that. Most comfortable I have been camping tent.A cool feature of the pump is that the inlet and outlet are the same size so it also helps to deflate the mattress when you are ready to go, it sucks the air out of it. No waiting 10 minutes for it to deflate or having to lay on it trying to push the air out of it.Will it last forever? I mean it inflates and goes on the ground so eventually I'm sure it will leak like any other but it is noticeably heavier than an air mattress I used to have that was designed for indoor use so I would imagine it is quite a bit tougher.I'm a happy customer.
