Red Thunder

I don't regret buying this book either and I love how it connects to the other books of the series. My favourite part is the beginning where we get to see NATO fight on the European front, something that was briefly shown in the first book. I also love how Will portrays Russia as a gloomy and dark land. Only, in reality, Russia would probably launch a nuclear strike if its soil was directly attacked. Still a great novel!

The strength of the WoW series is that each book is self contained with its own plot and characters.This story cover infiltration into deepest Russia, recovery of important minerals, and a long difficult escape. As in any book of this type, the characters lack depth; but the fast plot carries you along.

Fast paced, superbly written story telling; cleat and concise explains of weapons and technology, great characters and storyline. Really enjoyable, could not put it down.
