Versatile weight set for at home dumbbell and barbell exercises. The biggest limitation to this set is it maxes out at 44 pounds with all weights added, but for those who work out with lower weights, it's a good home option. Everything is plastic, even the bars and the threads that connect the 3 bar pieces. It's a very durable plastic and even with all the weights added, it hasn't broken after several hundred reps.I like how this set can transform from a barbell to 2 dumbbells in just a few minutes with no tools. Upright rows, behind the back shoulder presses, and rear delt rows work well with in barbell mode and have been great to help work my shoulders. For arms I use it for standing and seated curls and bent over spider curls. It's not enough weight for me to use for bench presses or shoulder shrugs, but it's been fine for those other exercises.After switching to barbells, I use these for seated wrist and bicep curls, tricep kickbacks, overhead extensions, chest presses, military presses, and lateral raises. There are a lot of other exercises you can do with these and they work well and the weights don't come loose when using them if tightened down properly.Since the weights are coated in plastic, they don't scratch hard flooring. The grip is a foam in the middle and a firmer ergonomic grip in the middle, fine for this amount of weight. Overall, a really nice basic weight set and stores in a compact area if you have a small workout space. Having these at home has helped me to lift more regularly. Even though this isn't a lot of weight, it's gotten me back into the habit and is keeping me disciplined until I go back to my main gym. Good product, it seems like it will last a while with normal use.

At home dumbells are a great addition to anyone's fitness and this product has fit that need for me. First of all the weights themselves are well made, there are no soft spots that were clearly not filled in correctly and the weight is spot on as advertised. They are easy to grip so I can pick them up and move them around with no problem and are not too big so I can still store them away without taking up to much space. The handlebars were one of the things I initially had questions about. They take a concave shape to fit your hands well and are made of plastic and strips of rubber. The rubber has a pretty aggressive texture to improve grip which I worried could pull at my skin. But I didn't have any such problems and instead it was just a great help for when my hands were sweaty. The barbell attachment on the other hand has a nice foam cover and easily screws on. The only real problem I have with these are the clips, you have to screw on an initial piece and then another to make sure everything stays tight. It really slows down how quickly I can switch out weights for different exercises and I have just resorted to only putting on the first piece to save time. They have also shown very few signs of wear which might differ greatly depending on what type of exercise and where you are using these. Personally I am using these for basic HITT workouts and not really throwing them around or anything. Overall they are a great set of weights that I have gotten tons of use out of so far and I'm sure even more in the future so I would reccomend them.

I was looking for a barbell set and stumbled upon this one and I'm so glad I did. The entire thing comes in pieces with each individual weight in its own sleeve, as well as screw on weight holders on each side, so you can basically build your barbell set from scratch. The actual barbell is covered in thin comfortable foam with little grippy handles on each side right next to the weight part so you can have the soft feel or the grip feel when doing your exercises depending on what you need at the time. The max weight is around 44lbs, so this won't do if you're looking for heavy, heavy lifting, but it definitely is great for myself who loves barbell lifting but isn't strong enough yet to do gym lifting again. It's really easy to secure the weights to the ends and screw two different stoppers and the barbell feels secure with no give even when tilting the bar itself which is fantastic and keeps you balanced. The weights themselves have a flat surface on the bottom so you can fill the barbell to capacity and sit it on the floor (mine are hardwood) and it won't run away which is something I didn't even think to need. Great solid yet lightweight bar with many uses and a pretty good weight capacity that you can juggle depending on the need you have. So glad I got this.

These are mainly made of plastic and the bars have cushioned grips. The weights seem to be filled with sand or something similar as the method of adding weight, but they're sealed well to prevent spillage.They are easily adjustable, going from barbells to dumbbell, and you can quickly modify the amount of weight up to the the max of 44lbs. I weighed some of the plates to check their accuracy, and they're very close to the stated weights.For the price, you're not likely to find another set that works as well as this.
