Why Has Nobody Told Me This Before? Hardcover – 6 January 2022

I ordered this book on Amazon because I have heard very good reviews about this book in YouTube and I follow the YouTube channel of Dr Julie Smith. This self-help book is very useful for those who wants to improve mental health, interpersonal relationships, happiness, anxiety, stress, etc. I have read the introductory part of this already and I am 100% satisfied with this book. However Amazon took almost a week to deliver this to my house. Fast shipping would be beneficial.

Everyone needs to read this book. Especially parents who are in a pressure to handle themselves and parenting at the same time. Helps us to reduce the conflict within us AND also we know exactly how to deal with kids emotions and groom them. It may feel heavy to read as you introspect and connect yourselves. But let me tell you, it helps a lot once you understand yourself. And same time help kids to be self aware.I am happy that I picked this book in the right time/phase of my life. Also I dont think I will pick another book in this category because this has answered my questions.READ and INTROSPECT. Give yourself some time!

Easy reading, relatable and encompasses all aspects of human relationship. In benefit of hindsight, on reading the book it appears I had known it all along. Yet deeper into the book I ended up making more notes. Toolkits are definitive methods to undertake and make difference in improving sociability and relationships.

Helps you understand emotions, habits better. Simple to comprehend and activities suggested are very practical. Good book if you'd like to understand how to regulate emotions, thoughts. It will help you and people you love around you🩷

The rest of the text will wait.She's also straight about exactly what you can expect from her. No cures available, just the means you'll need to persevere until Life loosens up that stranglehold a bit. This is purely pragmatic stuff. What to do to change how you feel.How to calm anxiety right now. How to respond to failure. The importance of routine. I think my favorite part dealt with self-criticism. It was a simple line at the top of Page 159:"if you want a man to get up off the ground, you have to stop beating him."That's just sort of exceptional, you know?So five fat, happy stars for this god-send of a book that will remain in my house on a shelf somewhere…..possibly for the rest of my life.

Overall the book is good. Toolkits are practical suggestions/solutions to various topics discussed. But at some places, it gets a little monotonous.The copy of the book is not as good as I expected (spine and black spots at the back cover of the book). There are some tears in the pages too. Additionally, a chapter got omitted while 3/4 chapters were repeated. Mistakes in page numbering too in between (in stress and fear sections).3.5/5 for content2.5 for the quality of the paperback & printing
