How can this be ripped if it’s a “new” game?
Instead of getting a new game I received a poor excuse of a game. It is a real fun game that I would’ve loved to have in new condition. If you sell something as new, it should be new when you receive it. This is a great game, which you should buy somewhere else. In fact, you should see it in person before you buy it because Amazon will accuse you of fraud if you complain or take back these horrible products from Amazon.

Great Story, Repetitive Combat.
If you've played any of the games in Namco's "Tales of" series then you'll know what to expect from the combat aspect of this game, it features real-time battles on a 2D plane with the option of moving around in 3D to avoid enemies, get a better position against groups, etc. However, the combat gets repetitive quite quickly but then this game's appeal isn't in the combat, the main aspect is the storyline, which more than makes up for the repetitive combat, it will appeal to anyone that enjoys comedy-focused anime. The game is quite long in comparison to other recent RPGs.

A decent game, but not as good as the Akiba's Trip games
This is the most recent entry in the Akiba's Trip series, although I think it would be better to now treat the Akiba's Trip games and Akiba's Beat as two separate series within the "Akiba" franchise. I've only briefly played the Tales of games, but I've seen it been compared to those, and yes it does play very similar to that series, as it takes a more JRPG approach.Like the previous games, I like the characters and story, and I definitely appreciate the new direction from previous games. In all honestly, there's only so many times you can make a game and story around stripping vampires (and people) in combat. The other thing I like is the main character now has a voice during dialogue as well as an actual name, which previous entries didn't have; the only disappointing thing we don't have now is dialogue options like in previous games. This is one of the best parts of the whole Akiba series that I loved from previous games. Like previous games, the dialogue appears like a visual novel and the character art is great. However, I feel a lot of the other changes made weren't great. The combat and enemies are very repetitive, and while I wouldn't expect the stripping combat from previous games, I would have liked to see a similar approach to making combat more unique. Combat mainly only happens in dungeons, unlike previous games. The side-quests too were basically "Go here, beat "x" number of "xyz" enemies, where the previous games had a lot of fun (and weird) quests with dialogues. One thing we have now is specific side-quests for your party members, as well as some other NPCs, although these missions have dialogue, it mainly consists of "Go here and trigger this event, repeat".Another thing is when roaming Akihabara is the NPCs within the area lack any life, they're basically just coloured in pink, blue or green and just stand around motionless. Even in dialogue with a lot of NPCs, their art also matches their 3d model. The previous games had them just has detailed as your character, as well as roaming about the map; Akihabara in "Undead and Undressed" was very populated. Exploration is also annoying when the party's support member has to let you know you're near something you can interact with, like a shop, every time you enter a new area (thankfully they only do this once in the area). That said, thanks to the Akiba's games I now have a general knowledge of how to get around Akihabara, so I knew where to go in the games. Good news is you can also fast travel, so you don't need to run around everywhere listening to someone pointing everything out to you. It's not a brilliant game, especially if you played the previous ones, and you'll likely only find yourself playing this for the story and dialogue. I would say you'll likely enjoy this more if you haven't played any of the others in the series. But this game is still enjoyable, but I just feel more could have been done with it.The other games you can also get are on PS4, Akiba's Trip: Hellbound and Debriefed is the first game whilst Undead and Undressed is the second, Akiba's Beat is the "third". If I had to recommend one it would be Undead and Undressed. Whilst I enjoyed the first game, it is a just a HD port of a game that came out on the PSP in 2011, so it looks quite dated now which may put some people off playing it. Undead and Undressed basically improved on everything the first game did, and is the best in the entry. There is no narrative connection between each of the games, so you can play them in any order and you don't have to play all of them.
