Walking cane
I use it as my walking cane for my right knee.Bought the tool kit with saw, fishing spear and sharp blade. Very nice.I only wish I could buy extra 'spacer' pieces to adjust to the perfect height for a little more comfortable handling while walking.Still gets 5 stars

It's a Survival Pole
I know, to be PC it's called a hiking pole but this is made for Survival Mode. Everything you need to adjust to the wild are in this pole. It is a little heavy compared to a hiking stick but it compensates with its protective strength. I removed the one segment which holds a knife because I carry one while I'm in the woods and it helps with the weight a bitGreat construction, very solid. The rubber tip isn't trekking savy but all in all a well needed piece of equipment for the woods...or Armageddon

Looking for a walking stick...you need this
Very well machined aluminum. The sections fit together flawlessly. Very sturdy and feels dependable. Fits my hand well. This is a great walking stick.The weight is a plus for me. I hate walking my dog and being at the mercy of dogs off their leashes, with or without owner supervision... as for burglars I have my .45. If I meet a bear I guess I'll be eaten with or without a walking stick. Every weapon has it's limitations.The length is a little awkward for me. I am 5'9" and it is a little too short as a walking stick, too tall as a cane. I wish I had ordered the extension as I intend to use it as a walking stick because I like the improved posture. It would have given me more options right from the start. The hard tip is great on carpet but useless on the streets and sidewalks so I will also have to order a rubber foot.I plan to make a paracord wrist strap for comfort and security, a personal preference. I will post pictures when complete.Overall would I order it again? Yes, I wish I had bought it years ago. It should last me a lifetime, unless of course one of those dogs gets it away from me and uses it on me, or the bear needs a great walking stick!

Very handy
I delayed in ordering this but a friend bought one and went in and on about how great it was. So I bought one. He was not lying! It is very sturdy, great quality walking tool. I was afraid it would be loose or wobbly at the connections but no! It is really very nice and promotes a little more protection if you happen upon an unexpected critter!
