Rock Chick Reckoning Paperback – April 17, 2013

You know what's really amazing? After 6 books in a series, each one is as good (or better) than the ones before it. THAT is Rock Chicks. I've been looking forward to this book since I caught a glimpse of Mace, the Hawaiian, in earlier books. Then we met Stella, on stage, singing her heart out and rocking it hard!Mace - former pro surfer, former pro snowboarder, now Hot Guy PI. He has some demons behind those eyes.Stella - lead singer, "mom" of her rock band, now Rock Chick. She has her own past to deal with but when she and Mace are together, they are amazing.Sigh, there are so many good, great, awesome, fantastic things in this book. Like previous Rock Chicks, there's some action. I mean real guns and crazy stuff action, AND some hot couple action. There's some romance. The Hot Guys, while ALL Alpha male (My absolute favorite), can do some romance. There's humor. Tex, Indy, Ally, the whole gang brings it and there were times that I had to stop reading because of the hilarious dialog.Here's something I absolutely hands-down LOVE about reading KA and this series. While the majority of the book is written in first-person female lead POV, we do get a few chapters/passages here and there from the male lead POV. The amazing thing is that the male POV changes and is written in third-person. And it is done FLAWLESSLY. It is, in a word, perfect.I loved all the previous Rock Chick books, but Mace and Stella...I'm sad to see them go and will definitely re read this again!

Ok... How hot is this Hot Bunch Boy? Mace can take over my band any day! Gosh to be a real Rock Chick and have Mace... Loved living this fantasy. The book touched base with all the previous Rock Chicks, so if you have not read the previous books, there may be some spoilers. The ending is the best part. I love that about Kristen Ashley. She takes you on an emotional roller coaster. I find myself laughing, crying, biting my fingernails, and then the end, that final moment of Awe...when in your gut you hate that the story is over, but thank the writing goddess that is Kristen the couple are happy and loving life, and that is what you wanted for them the whole way through the book.

Absolutely loved this one! If you're a KA fan you WILL have your favorites - she writes books like Ben & Jerry's make ice cream - everyone has a favorite! Kai & Stella are the bomb! Love a little angst in my books and KA normally delivers! If you haven't read ALL of her books then be prepared to be blown away! She is definitely one of a kind - I don't like paranormal but she rocked with her books! THANK YOU Kristen!!!'

Fun book again.

Mace is my favorite hot bunch guy so I was very happy he got a real rock chic. I enjoyed the pace of the plot and really enjoyed their sexual chemistry. I was happy to finally get Mace's background and what happened to his sister. The way it unfolded sucked me in and I was crying right along with Stella. This was my favorite in the series.

Really loved and enjoyed thus one. Really a great and lovable series. I just can't get enough of the rock chicks and the hot bunch lol

The story of Mace and Stella was yet another Rock Chick classic and once again I fell in love with yet another member of the hot bunch! Easy to read, plenty of action, plenty of sage sayings too. Now to go and learn to play the guitar so I can be as sexy as Stella!

loved reading this and kept me hoping for more. They chicks really do rock

The book in its self was ok. But ms Ashley had already told us what had happend to everyone ie how many kids they had etc. In mace and stellas story so it was kind of pointless reading this book. Although l did want to know what happend to ally. But her ending up with ren was never something l thought would happen. Sorry to those who havent read the book and l gave that away. I was so sure she would end up with a cop or PI. Oh well gave me something to read but no where near as great as the other 7 books were.
