The media could not be loaded.  We bought a Starter Set each for our 7yo twins. Box says 8+ but with a little help here and there they have got on absolutely fine with it.Really great fun, easy to use, endless track possibilities. Has kept them busy for hours and hours!There is a manual with pre-designed tracks to build, but once you’ve done a couple of those, it all makes sense and our kids prefer to create their own now.As we bought 2 sets we are able to combine all the pieces and make some quite long tracks like the video attached. You will find you’ll definitely want more track than just the starter set, so I’d recommend getting some extra track and one of the expansion add-ons too to make it really great. The magnetic cannon is probably the most useful.

Son wanted this for Christmas, got it and wasn't disappointed. Plenty of pieces to make loads of different runs, hours of fun.Sturdy parts and easy to put together.

Bought for my 5 year old knowing it may well be too advanced for her, but she absolutely loves it. It really is a fantastic set (I've spent many hours building new tracks whilst she's asleep). Definitely great fun for all ages.

I've bought this for my grandson for his birthday so don't know what it is like outside the box. But very happy with the price and quick delivery. My only complaint is, is the box was delivered and left on my doorstep without being in any packaging so everyone could see what it was and considering its a popular game at the mo and it was a present I was dismayed to find it open to all the elements and everyone's view. My grandson nearly saw it before his birthday it was just thanks to my quick thinking I was able to hide it from him!

My 6 year old and 4 year old spend hours every day playing with gravitrax sets - and seem to only be enjoying it more and more over time (we purchased the first set a full year ago!).Its a bit tricky for the 4 year old to work out how to make a good run, but he loves to watch his brother. Our 6 year old has always been obsessed with contraptions and marbles -- and really enjoys figuring out what works. He recently told us he liked it more than lego because it's easier for him to build more interesting things. I can see why the 8+ age range is appropriate for most kids.The rails are made of plastic, but none have broken yet. You need to set up carefully otherwise the balls fly off the track - but thats the fun part!Beware you might get sucked into adding more and more extensions over time. (The jumper and spiral are the best - the cable car one is the only piece that broke for us).

A great family game with many possibilities. I have two girls 8 + 9 yo and we love playing with the GraviTrax

Brought this to play with my daughter we ended up playing with it for hours great value for money

My 7 year old son got this yesterday for Christmas and has probably played with it for 5 or 6 hours already! Materials are well-made, directions to make the tracks are easy to follow, and he’s already started coming up with modifications and figuring out how to make different things happen. Fun STEM learning!

Mein 8-jähriger Sohn kann sich stundenlang damit beschäftigen. Die Teile sind hochwertig und die Anleitung ist leicht nachvollziehbar geschrieben. Er baut die Strecken aus der Anleitung immer wieder nach, nun möchte er natürlich auch mehr Erweiterungen. Nicht billig, aber für die Qualität ist der Preis okay.

This is a marble run starter kit to introduce you to this hands on educational toy. You learn how to put together either the supplied plans or dive in and make your own. hourd of fun sorting out the many variable, like marble speed, placement of bridge or tiles, all interchangeable and offer infinite playability. If you give this to a young person they are learning hands on practical scientific principle, but to them its a toy, its perfect to keep them away from TV or tablet.Some of the critical things are sometime the blocks to make tower do not fit together snug, so there is some movement, so always be aware as bumping into it will at time knock it out a bit and the marble will not roll properly, i would say 80 to 90% is decent. But the positive is you can sort these out bend the bottom tabs a bit or use for one layer, there is always a solution to these problem, but I surprise that being injection molded, there are some inconsistent tightness, I found the paper cardboard base 100% tight. This does not warrant knocking a star, but worth mentioning, as younger kids may have some issue and perhaps cannot figure out why the run may not work, so as a parent you know to look for these lose blocks either base or upper run part pieces.Overall a great starter set, seems pricey, but for the overall package it does hit all hit the points necessary to be rated highly. in amazon you want the rating to be at the minimum 60%, ideally above 70%, this is over 80% and lives up to the hype in my book. I will order other expansion kit for this and review them in the future.
