STA-10 10" Amplified Bass Enclousre

I bought this to add some bass to my Silverado 3500 HD work truck. It fits nicely under the back seat, and really adds some punch to the audio. I have it plugged into a Pioneer AVH-221EX head unit. With the crossover and subwoofer settings on this stereo I can my get some real thump inside the cab.This subwoofer isn't going to make your whole car boom for the neighborhood, but it sounds absolutely great from inside the vehicle.

I originally had two tens in a box with a kicker amp component system. I purchased this unit to keep some bass in my truck, but wanted more cargo space. Shortly after install I noticed that the amplifier stayed on. I reran power, ground, and remote wire thinking maybe there was a short somewhere on my side. The unit was very hit or miss in that sometimes it would turn off when I turned off the head unit and sometimes it stayed on. Unfortunately, it did run my battery down as it stayed on overnight that resulted in me purchasing a new battery. I reached out to tech support twice and got ZERO response. As a last ditch effort, I reconnected my old kicker amp from my previous set up and it works exactly right. It turns on when I power up the head unit and turns off when I turn the head unit off or turn off the truck. ABSOLUTE GARBAGE and crap customer support. I do not recommend buying.

Very impressed with this purchase. If you are looking to add clean, crisp and deep bass to your system but don’t want to wake up your neighbors, then this is right for you! Not over powering, perfect for in cab audio. Installed in 2019 F150 under the rear seat, paired with Powerbass 6.5” coaxials in the rear door, Powerbass 6x9 components with tweeter up front and Infinity Reference 3.5” for front center speaker. Running off factory radio with no additional amplifier. Sounds amazing, awesome speaker upgrade that was easy to install myself!

Better than I expected! Not for super bass but it's clean and installation was pretty simple.

Amazing sub..place in my F-150 love it kick ass can handle everything I put on her😞😞😞
