Nualgi Aquarium - Nutrition for Happier Aquariums (16oz) (Freshwater, 16oz)

I have been using this in 3 fish tanks and it is impressive. It helps with the bio filter to keep the whole system running smoothly.

After 2 weeks, no reduction in green or brown algae.

I was wondering why my water wasn’t as crystal clear lately and then I remembered that I need to order another bottle of nualgi. *order submitted!

When I started using Nualgi about 7 years ago, it worked very well and the dosage worked out by the owners then was computed at 7ml per 100 gallons per week. Now, the dosage has increased to around 35 ml per week for my 100 gallon tank. What changed? Did they decrease the consentration so much that it now takes 5 times as much to do the same job. That makes it so expensive that I will stop using it if that's what it takes to do the job. First, I will continue using it at the original 7ml dosage and if my algea problem comes back I will seek another method but I will not be held up because of the decreased potency.

If you are not using this in your tank, you are working too hard~ It really keeps Green algae growth under control!!!

Have been using this product since its inception but here in England, it's almost impossible to source. Price and speed of delivery were both very good. - Wayne

Unfortunately didn’t help with my diatom outbreak. My water parameters were great (ammonia ph nitrate nitrite) but my problem was phosphate . Phosguard was much more beneficial for brown algae for me!
