I think these shoes are very stylish and was considering buying them for about a year... Maybe longer. I couldn't find a lot of reviews about them, and I have anxiety about making non-prime purchases sometimes so I decided to wait & put it off until my previous shoes were shriveled threads. Now that I have these shoes I wish I hadn't waited, but am glad I came around nonetheless.First, I am a bit active on my feet and wear my shoes out more quickly than the average person. These shoes are great for me because of the inset heavy duty upper. Rather than being sewn in, or glued onto a basic commodity sole (like keds style, or toms) the upper of these boots are inlaid deeply into a heavy duty rugged sole.Second they lace up comfortably and are sturdy, but not too stiff like many rugged boots just out of the box. These will lace up tightly enough to conform to your feet on the very first wear (for those who prefer to have their feet cradled).Third, I did NOT have to break these in... at all. They felt great when I put them on out of the box, and I was prepared to spend the day getting used to my new shoes and letting them get used to me. But halfway through the day I realized that these shoes felt amazing, my feet were completely comfortable. I have a job where I am up and about- on my feet for the entire day. And on top of that I live downtown, I bike to work, and I walk at least a mile every day in errands/ daily rituals aside from work. I felt no foot stress/cramps or uncomfortable rubbing (like against my achilles heel for example) from the very first wear on.When I buy a pair of shoes my intent is to wear them exclusively until they fall apart. These shoes were extremely flexible right out of the box- Great for walking, running for the train, playing frisbee- everything. These are total lifestyle shoes.

Gut informiert durch bisherige Rezensionen habe ich die Boots eine Nummer größer bestellt - normalerweise passt mir immer Gr. 40 - die Boots passen in Größe 41 perfekt und sind sehr bequem, auch wenn man länger auf den Beinen ist. Die Boots sind eher schmal geschnitten, haben eine ansprechende Form und sehen sehr lässig aus, wenn man diesen derben Stil mag. Auch die Farbe ist wie abgebildet und passt einfach zu allem.Ein großer Minuspunkt - und dafür könnte ich eigentlich auch 2 Sterne abziehen :Die Sohle ist auf nassem Untergrund sehr rutschig - das ist gefährlich ! Auf normalem, etwas rauhem Strassenbelag geht es noch bei Nässe - falls man jedoch schon auf einen nassen Kanaldeckel tritt, oder auf nassen Fliesen (z.B. in Geschäften) läuft, oder auf etwas glatteren Oberflächen / Steine / Beton bei Nässe laufen will, geht man wie auf Eiern aus Angst, auszurutschen !Daran muss meiner Meinung nach dringend etwas verbessert werden - dann würde ich mir den Schuh auch sofort noch in anderen Farben nachbestellen. Ansonsten nicht, das ist mir einfach zu gefährlich - speziell wenn es jetzt in den Herbst und Winter geht und eventuell auch mal Eis und Schnee dazukommen.Eventuell ist dieser Schuh ja nur für Sand / Wüste konzipiert...?

In my opinion this item looks much nicer in real life than it does in this picture. I've only been wearing these in for a few days so far- very harsh on your heels though!Comfort-wise, definitely not the most plush shoes I've had. Very firm, the walking surface has no give at all. They do intiially feel quite cool but they definiely won't stop your feet from getting sweaty, be assured.I bought these mostly for the promise of durability and they seem to be just the thing. I love the soles on these and they seem like the shoes will last as long as I keep the insides and the canvas clean for. Minor inconvenience that the grips are just the right size for stones to get caught in.In my opinion look best worn tongue down under bootcut jeans.I usually go for a size UK 9, but settled for an 8 and it's just right, not squashed at all, even though my feet are wide, and since the shape of the shoe is both roomy and rigid, I don't have the problems with sore toes I have with other shoes.

These look like Palladium boots but don't feel authentic. They are made in China.

Let me first start by saying that I rated these shoes as "somewhat large" but that is only because I ordered a half size larger than I wear. I am actually a 7.5 D but they didn't have that size in the color (Boue) that I wanted so I ordered an 8 B. They are actually more long in the toe than large, but they fit my wide feet very well.That being said, other than the slightly large size, I love these boots. I am on my feet and moving quite a lot during the day. I wanted boots that were rugged, comfortable, and still looked acceptable with most of my dresses and skirts. I've worn then twice already, once with jeans and once with a dress, and they work for both. They are lightweight and yet very durable. I love the Boue color; it's kind of khaki and kind of olive but pairs well with dark clothes. I may consider getting this boot again but in a different color for more versatility with my wardrobe. Definitely a good buy.
