Gave 5stars because realize they have other, shorter, sizes. I ordered two of the mid length ones. These are well built and function great. Unlike others, the grippers hold very well with no slippages. Only issue, for me anyway, the long is too long and the short is too short. If the long one was about nine inches shorter then the short on would be fine.

These grabbers are nice with the "suction" type tips; better than the stiffer Rubber type on my previous grabber. Handles are comfy and the locks work flawlessly, plus the longer grabber is easy to set up, holding at least five pounds each. The steel cable, (twisted wire), ought to last without becoming kinked or individual strands breaking. I assume the connection mechanism holding the wire is engineered to last, judging by the overall construction of the grabber. Beats my other one by far! I don't think anyone buying this product will be disappointed.

I won’t be without these grabbers anymore. I have them in every room and various lengths in kitchen and garage. They are a must for me now. These are quality grabbers. Very well made and help me many times a day. I especially like this brand because of theRubber “grabbers” on the ends. They hold the object firmly with no slipping.

I recently had back surgery. I like the two different lengths but not impressed with the suction cups on the end. It's doing what i need and i like how i can lock it from releasing to early.

Well made and such a useful tool for after back surgery. I love that it comes as a 2-pack, one shorter and the other is long enough so i could really reach those high, hard to reach items. They have a great hold which has a locking function so i didn’t have to keep holding lever to hold onto whatever i was reaching for. Definitely a very useful tool

On the plus side, they are well constructed, but beyond that, they are more like something that someone kept adding things to, to impress the boss. Since the inventor probably never heard the term K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple, Stupid), the race was on to come up with something different. The shaft is a single rectangular ½” x 6/8” aluminum tube that can accommodate their Power Cuff for items up to 25 pounds, but you would need the use of two hands to manage anything that heavy. On the minus side, the maximum width between the cups ranges from 2 inches to 3 inches. On the ArcMate E-Z Reacher Pro Plus, the width ranges from 3 ½ inches to 4 ½ inches, allowing you to pick up wider items. On the ArcMate Deluxe model, the handle has a ratcheting sharp edged metal bar that scrapes the web of your hand every time you grip something. The lock is clumsy to operate, especially for anyone who is disabled and only has the use of one hand. There is a Velcro loop on the shaft for hanging the reacher on a hook, but why not use the lanyard loop hole on the base of the handle? A simple loop of leather or cord would suffice. Also, the front of the grip has a hollow opening, and that is what I have been using to hang it on a wall hook. The bottom of the shaft has sharp edges, both inside and outside, but by adding on the Power Cuff, the end is covered up. Overall, I think that the ArcMate E-Z Reacher Pro Plus model is a much better reacher/grabber. I can only give the ArcMate 26” and 42” EZ Reacher Deluxe Reacher Grabbers an Amazon rating of three Amazon Stars.

I count not find my previous grabber and I was lost without it. I was thrilled when I came across this grabber. It works so well when I am in the golf cart and able to pick up sticks that fall from our 17 pecan trees at our farm. Having had two back surgeries and a scoped knee, this grabber is such a life saver and I highly recommend it!

I have to use a medical walker while waiting for my knee replacement surgery and these grippers have made everyday tasks so much easier. Picking up my meds or a bottle of water that is out of reach on the dining room table, or picking up the mail from the floor after the mailman puts it thru the mail slot in the door, etc. The long one is a bit long but helpful in picking up mail and small packages left on the front steps without me having to step outside or bend over on the steps and the shorter gripper is wonderful for everything else. Well...well worth the money. The short one I even strap onto the walker so it goes with me.
