We have had many of these over the years. Our cat loves them, however she likes to stop the wand for a while with her paw and over time the motor gives in. It doesn't matter though we get good use out of it and get her another. I have noticed with the past 2, the screw in wand falls out and really needs to be taped to the body. I am guessing some penny pincher has worked out a cheaper way to mould them. Well it doesn't work, and it is a shame really because the toy is a great idea. There are other makes of this toy and I may need to look for one of them next time.

The media could not be loaded.  Cat took to it straight away. No hesitation or fear. It takes 3x UM2 batteries, which was a bit unexpected, since most things have AA batteries these day. But all said and done. It works well and entertains the cat. Was delivered two days earlier. To fit the fabric cover it is necessary to rotate the grey cone anti-clockwise. My Thank to the supplier.

Got this as my cat had just broken the other one that she had. Good fun and it does keep cat engaged. Only issue with this new one is the 'mouse tail' is not made of hard rubber..the cat has bitten most of the red tail to bits...shouldn't be able to do that as it would cause chocking..please Don't leave cat to play without supervision!

This cats toy was great at first, my cat was in love with it. However after a few short time the cloth became shredded resulting in having to replace the cloth and the rods. Then the first toy stopped spinning even though the motor was still going. So in the end I gave up on this toy.The cat missed her toy so much, I ordered a new one, the replacement rods did not fit this replacement toy so I had to use a bit of tape on the screws to hold it in. This worked great and ran up until today. Once again the toy stopped spinning, however this time it turned on but would not spin. I replaced the batteries to not avail. Then we started to smell something getting HOT, then we could smell burning, THEN we saw the SMOKE, I shout to my brother to get it out of the house. And this is where we stand with this fun toy. I will be contacting Amazon. I have attempted to call Amazon 4 times, although I entered the connection number twice each time it would not connect. Great system.

Had 2 of these before but the original ones which are twice the price but broke as got stood on! Anyway this is the exact same machine with exact buttons and skirt! You just pop in 3 C batteries unscrew the round plastic side on top, put on the yellow skirt and screw it back on, screw in the wand and your done! My cats love it and usually prevent it from moving by just sitting on the wand but it's stood up to the heavyweight of my cat (so far) only downside is whatever c batteries you use don't last long and they are not cheap so in the long run it's better buying a cheap pack of rechargeable batteries with charger! Which does work out alot better!

I bought this as a replacement for one that we had for several years and which the cat loved. this one has a button to allegedly change the speed from slow to medium and fast, it only works at a fast speed which is too fast for the cat and hits her paw quite hard and seemed to hurt her, she hates it. it goes at the same speed despite which speed setting is selected. I would recommend the previous one that this replaced, but not this one i feel i wasted my money on this
