Bought this for my parents for Christmas as I was staying with them and realised how bad their knives were after being used to using my own Sabatier Knives.Even I was impressed with this set as a knife officionado!First thing first, you may think that £80 is a lot, but i'm all about value, and this set is amazing value! I have seen the sharpening steel alone advertised at £30! So at full price this set is probably worth £250-£300!You get so much in this set;-a beautiful wooden block-a sharpening steel-a carving fork-a chef's knife-a bread knife-a carving knife- a filleting/boning knife- a utility knife-a peeling knife-a paring knife (a shorter version of the utility)Amazing! the larger knives would be worth up to £30 each alone!The only thing you could say the set is missing is a Santuko and shears, but you can live without those for £80!The knives are all excellently made and lovely to handle.They are British made and on top of that all have a 30 year warranty!!In summary, If you are looking for new knives for yourself or as a gift at less than £100 you really cannot fault this set!
