Low quality metal
These screws shear if there is any more resistance than that of a predrilled soft wood. Using them on an old door frame resulted in three screws shearing and loosing their heads. Very inconvenient as I now need to chisel out a large portion of door and glue in a new piece of wood. 15minute job became a 2 day job. My conclusion is not to use these except in soft materials.

Was using for some garden furniture, predrilled the holes but 3 out 5 times the heads would just shear off.
