Cut Resistant Gloves & Cut Proof Gloves - Level 5 Protection, Food Grade - Whittling Knife/Mandolin/Woodcarving Safety Glove

These are good gloves. Medium fit my 9" hand pretty snuggly, but I wanted them snug, and my fingers are a little short. Plan to use mostly boating toothy critter and filleting. (no, I won't be lipping any northern pike or musky)Unfortunately I wasn't thinking about grip. These have no grip on palm or fingers, so they are a bit slippery. I'll try some glove grip spray.

I purchased these to wear while replacing razor wire. They did not work really well for this application, but they were not intended to. The wire kept snagging the material, but I did not get cut, so they did the job. I took a razor blade and tried to cut into the palm of the glove (not while wearing it) and I could not even see where the razor blade made contact.

I'm not the best butcher but, I do a lot of grilling and sometimes I need to trim the meat. I've had it slip and wound up with some nasty cuts. I generally put a nitrile glove over these because they will absorb meat juices but, they will protect your hands from a cut with the edge of a knife. I'm not so sure about a stab but, I don't generally do that. :)

Bought these as a gift for a teenage girl who has been getting into soap carving and wants to move into wood carving. She has nicked herself a few times, and I was concerned! These gloves are comfortable and they are definitely an effective safety measure for her.

I use these when I chain saw and I like the secure grip they provide.

Some loose threads that stick out in a loop. Otherwise good. I sawed on my hand with a knife while wearing to test them out and I didn't even get a scratch.

They work great, obviously haven't used them with a serrated blade, but with graters and my super sharp chefs knife they are awesome to have on hand. I am big on knife safety but as an extra precaution these really do the job.
