On the First Day of Kindergarten

This is a very sweet book, but I decided against keeping it because almost everything it talks about doing in kindergarten I believe a child who has already been to preschool (as has my gift recipient) has already done. As soon as I realized this I ordered two more similar themed books so I would have a choice as to which was the best fit for the child I had in mind. My choice was "I'm Going to Kindergarten," by Andrea Posner-Sanchez. It's a happy, upbeat story and talks about doing things that are specific to kindergarten and wouldn't have likely happened in preschool.

My grandchildren loved it.

Was bought as a gift for a family friend who is a teacher. Her class LOVED the book!

This book is adorable!! It is read (or sang at the top of your lungs hehe.....kids!!) Or sang to the tune of 12 days of Christmas. It goes over all the things you would expect a kindergarten kiddo to do. Coloring, shapes sorting, riding the bus to school, playground time etc. We loved it so much we sent it to a friend too who was also starting school. The book quality was great and the illustrations are adorable Super cute book!!
