Door Weather Stripping - Q-Lon Beige

After going through countless weatherstripping for my front door I finally found this. With all the other ones I had bought, there was still a gap, and they would always come loose. This was big enough to seal the door completely, was very easy to install, and shows no sign of coming loose. Highly recommend. fast shipping.

This works great in wooden door frames. Note that you will need THREE pieces to complete the first door since each piece is only 81 inches. Cuts easily with sissors and pushes into slot in door jamb.

Perfect fit vut didnt realise that i o ly was buying one strip that only covers one side 9f my door frame. I had to buy two.mpre to cover the top and other side.

This product was recommended by the energy contractor I used. I ordered 3 for my door per prior review and it doesn't fit my old 1846 door. So beware. Note shipping costs are per item shipped and comes in one bag.

I had large gaps around the front door and the entry door garage into the utility area. The home's builder weather stripping had become flattened and brittle over 15 years. Home improvement and hardware stores didn't have a comparable product and what they did have simply didn't work. The weather strip mounting grooves plus the gaps and door fit I had were too large for the products they sold to fill the gaps. The doors could fit better, but they don't. That is a story for another time. I found this weather stripping that seemed to be the same design as my existing. It is and does the job perfectly. Without searching every store in Tucson AZ, it is either hard to find or it is not available locally. Good news, it worked great. Just what I needed. They sell it off a bulk roll cut into three pieces which approximates the dimensions of a standard door. There are no instructions or labeling. It installed just like the original though. And its a little expensive. Cat clawed up our weatherstripping, wanting to get in the kitchen door. Looked horrible (weatherstripping, not the cat.) . I love that on Amazon you can find almost anything, and I did indeed find exactly what I needed and it came promptly and was very easy to install (or so says my nephew who did it for me). So thanks, good product.

I'm very pleased with this product especailly since it was a exact match to the material used by the home builder. I could not find this in the local home improvement stores so I'm greatful for Amazon, they have such a wide variety of goods at a great price.

The product received is not OEM Q-Lon manufactured, so take note of the "no manufacture" in the listing. It's an after-market replacement. Also, what was received is not what is shown in the picture either. Sizing wise, it seems to fit and work. Note that OEM Q-Lon material will have Q-LON embossed on all over the product. This product has no markings. Also, note the pic with the two items being held. Top seal is what was received. Bottom seal is OEM Q-LON.
