Body Glove3T BAREFOOT MAX Water Shoe

These are fantastic water shoes. Fit great. Can swim with them. But - they leak sand almost instantly. if you are swimming this is not a big deal, but if you have to keep your feet on the bottom for even 20-30 seconds, the sand flows into the shoes, and is very irritating. I also use neoprene booties for playing in surf. They don’t have the nice fit of the Barefoot Max shoe, but the neoprene does not allow sand in. I don’t know what to do. I love these Barefoots, but I can’t take the grinding sand on feet. I may try to use “liquid rubber” to close the holes and see if that helps. Great product. But not a small flaw.

I admittedly have a very wide foot 4.5 inches depending on the brand anywhere from a 4E to a 6E or XW to XXW. I wear a size 11.5 to a 12 Men's shoe. I bought these in a 12 and could barely get my foot in the collar it was so tight, I tried a 13 and it was also hard to get passed the collar but then it was far too long with the toes flapping around like clown shoes.If they came with a more relaxed collar and a slightly wider toe box they'd be perfect. Come on Body Glove not everyone has a regular width foot.I may try to stretch to take them to a cobbler to stretch out the collar on them to see if they fit any better.

I bought these for my husband, the shoe runs a little small/tight. He really liked the shoe but he had to give them to one of our boys because they were just too small.
