Cool kitchen gadget
This is a really handy kitchen gadget! I don't like to take up space with useless kitchen gadgets and this is one that I'm happy to find space for in the drawer. After receiving I went out and bought a watermelon right away. It made cutting a breeze. I do believe practice would produce more streamlined results, but even from the first use it is easy to get great cuts. This came with a melon baller and four fruit forks which are of very nice quality. I only take the one star away because of the thin bar at the top of the knife. It is a bit flimsy and bends easily, and causes me to worry about the longevity. I will update later with any issues.I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest opinion. great tool set for the kitchen
This watermelon slicer is a great little time saver and prevented making such a mess while cutting the watermelon on my counter. All I did was cut my watermelon in half and then off I went with this tool. If you use in in one direction it cuts the slice and then you turn it over and it will pick up the slice. Very convenient. This actually works surprisingly well and cut the time of cutting it greatly. It is made of stainless steel. It is easy to hold and use. It took me a few slices to get the hang of it, but once I did I was very happy. Make sure you're pushing down close enough to the rind in order to reduce waste. I found it is easier if I cut the watermelon in half lengthwise, instead of across the width. I love that it is dishwasher safe and very easy to clean. Overall, I am very pleased with this tool. I haven't had a chance to use all the accessories that came with it but I'm sure they will come in handy.I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
