Requires 2.4ghz wifi set to at least g+n
I'm sure with Smart devices there's a lot of chance for misconfiguration of network design, and I had trouble getting these to work at first. They REQUIRE 2.4ghz wifi, and I have a TP-Link router running dd-wrt, with my 2.4ghz set to "N-Only". They just wouldn't finish the connection during the process and tell you to reset and retry.I switched my 2.4ghz wifi to do G+N protocols and then ran the setup process again and they all connected fine.So yeah, make sure you've got a 2.4ghz wifi network on your router and don't limit it to N-only, and you might have better luck.

Work great, look great
They work like they should. But I decided they were too yellow for a kitchen. It felt weird to cook in that light but its great if you are entertaining later in the evening. I ordered ones that go from white to yellow so I can adjust depending on what I'm doing. But they work as advertised and setting up with the app was easy.

WiFi vs Bluetooth
I tried a Senled Bluetooth bulb and this Senled WiFi bulb with Alexa. WiFi bulbs are much cheaper. Both, ultimately, work well and seamlessly with Alexa, at least in my simple setup of lightbulbs in rooms where an Echo is nearby and wifi is strong. The Bluetooth bulb set up easily. Screw it in, tell Alexa to discover new devices, and bang, you're done. That particular bulb also has a color-changing feature that's fun and useful, because you can not only change colors through the spectrum but also adjust the color temperature of the white light. I recommend that bulb, Dimmable LED Bulb A19 E26 Multicolor. This bulb, the WiFi version, is more complicated to set up. You must download an app and open an account. Then grant various permissions to the app before you can use it. The Senled skill has to be enabled on your Alexa. Then you can set up the bulb in the app, which is straightforward but redundant if you plan to control the light exclusively through Alexa. You've already set up your rooms, zones, scenes, or whatever with Alexa, so why must you do it again for Senled? But you do.But if you're comfortable with this sort of thing it's easy enough, and when you're done the bulb will work with Alexa just as your others do. The 60W-equivalent light is as bright as expected, and is a pleasant soft-white color that's pretty standard for indoor lighting.Obviously the other disadvantage of the WiFi model is that it requires your wifi to be working, but that's also true of systems that use external hubs, so it's hardly a big deal. But the Bluetooth one just needs your Echo to be powered up, even if wifi is down.IMO, the onetime setup hassle is worth it for the much lower cost and, of course, adding more WiFi bulbs is much simpler since you've already done the work.Bottom line: It's a great thing that you can use your Echo and these quite inexpensive smart bulbs to achieve voice-controlled lighting so easily and cheaply.

Awful. Do not buy these. Trust me.
I can’t say enough how much I can’t stand Alexa with smart lights. It is honestly the worst “smart” anything I have ever used. Alexa can control smart lights like an infant can control their bowel movements.I have tried multiple companies, multiples lights, wyze, Phillips, Sengled and after 6 months of Alexa losing connectivity and constantly have to reset, re-pair, reboot wifi, reboot Alexa, reboot life, I finally found the issue. It is ALEXA!!Alexa is an awful, absolutely awful way to make your home “smart”.I’ll give you an example. When I finally got my fill of “cheap” lights like Sengled, I decided to try the higher priced lights, Phillips in this case.Highly rated, great lights. “Work with Alexa only, no hub needed!”.Sounds to good to be true? Yes! Because it is!I added all my Phillips lights, everything was perfect. All my routines for sunset and sunrise were working. It was as great as the Sengled lights were, for about 1 week. THEN, just like with any smart light you will pair with Alexa, connectivity is lost. ALWAYS, LOST. ALWAYS!No matter what you do. Lost.Sent Amazon customer support a message. No help.Sent Phillips a message, they said the issue was with Alexa. Same as Sengled said!!I immediately returned the Phillips lights and then what happens. When you add ANY Phillips light to Alexa, it will stay with you until you die.I tried to delete the lights from Phillips. They said the issue is with Alexa. I contacted Amazon. They said the issue is with Phillips!!!So now, EVERY TIME I add ONE smart light, ALL EIGHT of the old Phillips lights try to re add AGAIN!So instead of one device being added, it’s NINE LIGHTS. I have to delete any time I change anything on Alexa. ANY DANG TIME.If I lose connective and fix it, 9 lights. If I have to add them again, 9 lights. So if you want to purchase a smart lighting system, stay AWAY from Sengled and stay AWAY from ALEXA.Alexa is good at telling you the time. Not making your house “smart”. It will surely make your house “dumb” though.

Bulbs
They look great in my lights where you can see the bulb. They were easy to hook up to the app and Alexa as well. Have bought them before and they lasted a long time, only have had one burn out - hence the purchasing of more. Definitely worth the money, they last a long time and look cooler than a regular light bulb.

These WERE just what i wanted.
They are the amber color I wanted. They connected with a bit more difficulty than my older Sengeld color and tunable white wifi lights. They operated normally for about a year. When we upgraded our router to eero, 2 of the 4 never connected again. I tried all sorts of recommended methods, including moving them right next to the main router, and they still would not connect. I haven't tried engaging with Sengeld yet, but I am very disappointed in the performance of these bulbs. Plan B is to try the auto-connect ones from Sengeld (1518120135) to get me out of the snag of the Sengeld app. I already have 3 different brands of smart bulbs so I am not eager to add a fourth. Alexa just isn't smart enough to handle them all the same.

Nice looking lights, one of the 4 didn't work.
I have had mixed results with Sengled bulbs... when they work, they are great. However, it has been hit/miss with regards to them working. They will work for a bit, then just stop connecting... then just start working again with no changes to my network.Having said that, the lights are nice looking, and plenty bright.... BUT, I think I am done with Sengled items.
