Oddly satisfying
I'm a very picky guy. I have a screwdriver and tape measure problem. This screwdriver is maybe the 14th or 16th ratcheting screwdriver that I've bought. Previously, my favorite was the Bahco (1) and Blackhawk (3) pistol trigger ratcheting screwdriver...because of superior ergonomics and leverage. I'd bought the gearwrench copy (1, not as good). I bought the Bahco t-grip (solid, but no bit storage). I bought 5 different Lee Valley screwdrivers. I bought 3 vintage yankee screwdrivers. I bought some crappy home depot drivers. I bought the fancy Rolgear driver (broke very easily, but was like silk)......all in the search for a basic, comfy, ratcheting screwdriver that feels good in the hand. This is a very good, comfy ratcheting screwdriver that feels good in the hand. The blades are the most useful ones in every day use, well ground, and with excellent clearance. You can just shove a regular bit into this holder, or use a bitholder for a regular ratching driver.Well done.

NO MORE STRIPPED SCREWS! Tight Tolerance, HIGHLY ERGONOMIC. High Torque!
The Most Perfect Iteration of a Screwdriver I've ever used. Fits perfectly in my hand! The Ratcheting part is perfect to screw and unscrew faster, while the ball handle lets me drive with so much torque!!! The screws that I've had to replace on my set up are not stripping anymore from the perfect tolerance it makes with the screws! Highly recommended! I took way too long in getting a better screw driver, and will now get more of these for all my toolboxes!

It's well built and I like the magnetic tip
This is a nice product. It makes screwing and unscrewing with one hand easy. It's compact, but still has a hefty amount of torque due to the radius of the handle. This isn't a huge radius like my old driver, which was over an inch. The ANEX hasn't failed me yet for household jobs. It appears to be built to last.

An absolute pleasure to use - $25
I was in the market for a ratcheting ball grip style screwdriver because I hate money and was bored. originally intended to buy the vessel, but discovered the anex brand on Amazon. I’m not sure why but I erroneously believed it to be the size of a turkey baster, so I put one in my photo for a size comparison. Imagine my surprise when I saw just how small this is.This is an absolute pleasure to use. The flip bit comes with the most common size fasteners encountered in a household setting (PH2 and 6) and are magnetized. It also accepts 3, 6, and 12” bit drivers with no problem, and unlike the vessel ratcheting drivers, you retain the rubberized shank that allows you to turn the driver with your finger tips while you palm the driver for delicate work. In other words, in the Vessel the actual ratcheting mechanism is within the stubby portion, rather than the shank. The shank is the interchangeable Philip/flat bit. The Anex is an absolute joy to use for household tasks. The key feature that sold me on the Anex vs Vessel was seeing that Anex looks like it has a more 'protected' direction toggle than the vessel which I many people have said gets toggle while in use accidentally and change the direction that it's ratcheting. The toggle is also directional (if you flip the toggle clock wise, the screwdriver torques clockwise) which is surprisingly sometimes hard to find. Still same quality as vessel, feels solid. Jis style.Currently it’s priced $20. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy this again. Great ergonomics, good feeling weight and balance in the hands. Absolutely no play with the bit inserted. A fantastic driving experienceupdate august 2024. this screwdriver is still my favorite tool to reach for and made assembling Ikea furniture an absolute breeze, which is notorious for requiring hand tools to assemble in order to avoid damaging fragile wood. I still find this driver as my go to for around the house tasks and would purchase a second one to have at my parents house to always have it available for use

High quality tool
I have had similar products from Vessel before, so expectations were high. This tool lived up to them. The ratchet feels very "mechanical" in a solid precision way. I know this tool will last, very comfortable as well.

High friction & backdrag ruins an otherwise nice screwdriver.
Comfortable ball handle; Small size is great for my baby hands, and it makes it easy to quickly spin the neck of the screwdriver with your fingers while applying pressure, which synergizes well with the ratchet. Unfortunately, you can expect to do that quite a bit; The ratchet has quite a bit of teeth and runs smoothly, but there's so much friction and backdrag on the mechanism that you won't get more than a few turns of the ratchet on any screws with clean threads. The friction fit bit holder holds the bits very solidly; I'd have no worry of the bits falling out with it in a side pouch, and the included bit is also pretty solid. (First time I've seen a key-stone style slotted bit) But for use as a ratcheting screwdriver, other options are better. It was only 11$, though, so I can't complain too much.

Best screwdriver ever!
Although it has drag, it doesnt matter b/c your fingers reach the section that can hold the screw back - no play when using and the provided bit works well, but of course you can add your own! Just feels like a well oiled machine where the maker cares!

Excellent tool
Easy to use, easy to change ratcheting directions and good on your hand to apply force. So far so good.

Excellent ratcheting screwdriver
This is a very well made, high quality screwdriver with a nice reassuring ratcheting mechanism. It's a little bit smaller than I was expecting but actually this is not a problem at all in use. I have paired it with VESSEL IMAPCT Ball Torsion Bit with Mag Charge Holder 5PC set and this set up works very nicely.Highly recommended.
