Don't buy
Very poor controller. It is very cheesy and does not operate well. The instructions are unintelligible. I have 20 and a 22 year old sons who are very tech savvy and they had a devil of a time getting these to work. They gave up on the controller completely. This was a bust. The glasses by themselves are adequately comfortable. That's the best I can say for this purchase.

Interesting
Need prominent cheek bones to fit well. These make it hard for me to breathe & enjoy the experience. Still looking for adding fitment pads. I do love the focus functions. Virtual reality well outside my experience. And oldschool 3d has always been elusive to my eye focus.

The product works great. The controller calls for AA batteries, which I purchased. It actually needs AAA. It will say AA inside as well, but clearly only the AAA will fit.

Good feel, comfy padding, just wish I can adjust distance.
So far it's pretty comfortable, the padding is great, and the focus adjustments are pretty great for differently spaced faces. Though I wish the distance of the mobile device can be adjusted in depth, because at this distance, the edges are pretty visible, so what you see is a video box that takes away from the immersive experience. I'm sure this is also because my device isn't the largest out there. I'd imagine the larger the phone, the more coverage area.

No instructions needed
Came with a remote with no instructions for either. was easy to use still don't know what to do with remote but worked with my V10 phone.

like me, have a big nose you will hate ...
First headset that i've tried. Using this with trinus, tridef 3d, xpadder, and my S5 to run skyrim. Not very comfy, after nearly a half hour of play it starts to give me a headache. If you, like me, have a big nose you will hate it. In stead of buying a different product i decided to solve my problem by gluing a layer of foam over the seating edge. fits perfect now! But i recommend looking else where.

Awesome gift and fun experience!
I got this for my son and we got it yesterday, it is amazing! I had used some other VR's before but this one beats them all. Smooth, solid and not shiny-cheap plastic, makes it an awesome gift! The remote control worked out of the box, but not with all app since most apps actually don't need a remote. Will be buying this for Xmas gifts to all my nephews in a heartbeat!

Good VR, bad Remote
The Headset is good for the price, however the little remote didn't meet my expectations. It feels really flimsy and the trigger felt like it was broken. Overall its good for the price, you cant expect much either.
