KonadStamping Nail Art Image Plate - M19

I recently bought a Konad Nail Stamping Kit at a mall. I bought the basic kit that comes with 1 image plate, craper, stamper, and 1 nai polish. I paid $25 for the whole kit. Each additional plate was $7. I decided to wait and check here. I am glad I did because they had sold out of this one. With this plate you can do the different color tips which is very popular right now. If and that is a BIG if you know how to use the stamper properly, this will save you tons of visits to the nail salon. It took me some time to learn to position the image just right on the nail. Don't get me wrong though, I still visit the nail salon for my manicures and pedicures. I mainly use the kit in between visits. It has saved me a lot of $.

I like the idea here but the etching for the nail tips are quite narrow. This will work for you if you have shorter nails or nails 1/8" past your nail bed. Or if you only like a small white tip on your longer nails. There's room on the plate to etch these a bit bigger - I wish they would have. But it does work nicely for what it is.

This works wonderful when you can get it lined up well! It does take a lot of practice. I did notice that the more I practiced the better I got! It does make doing a french manicure easy with salon quality results. I plan to keep practicing because it really can work very well! Just don't get discouraged if you can't seem to get it perfect on the first tries of using it. I will say it does take time! Just keep at it. It will get better :)

I am terrible and doing French tips with tape so I thought this would be a good solution, but it's hard to get a good match and placement with the stamp so all the tips are even. I find its better to free hand them for me! However, the plate worked well and I had no technical trouble with its functioning.

This plate is as advertised, but the thickness of the image (the length between the end of the cuticle and the end of the nail) is a problem for me. What if I want to have longer tips? You can stamp multiple times to make up for it, but that introduces variance.I also had some trouble with the image not transferring well to the stamper, but I was using an Essie polish, not the Konad polishes. I used to think this didn't make a difference, but I recently got some Konad polishes for stamping and it's a night-and-day difference.Anyway, it serves its purpose but I'm a little underwhelmed.

These are a little tricky to use and get straight. Make sure you scrape from side to side so you fill the whole space with nail polish. I recommend a clear stamper to help you get them lined up on the nail. I bought these to make it easier to get a perfect french nail but they take some practise even if you are an experienced stamper. If you haven't stamped before I suggest trying some different designs first.

Nice product but I anticipated the image plate to be a little larger. It's approximately 2" in diameter and the largest image on the plate has to be used twice for most big toes-it's called practice. French manicures look nice using the plate once you have the managed your niche for applying. Use a tiny paint brush/brow brush in nail polish remover to clean up over applications :)

I've always wanted a perfect french manicure and now I can totally DIY at home!!! I have shorter nails and so the images of the tip on the plate were thick enough for me, but I wonder if it works as well for someone with longer nails... I might grow my nails a bit longer one day and I hope it still fits.
