Fr Calloway's book is a great way to learn more about the rosary, its history, and the devotion itself. Written by a priest who unabashedly loves his Rosary and Mary this little book will give you a daily quote about the rosary to make you think, learn and meditate on the rosary in new ways. It's designed as a "book of days" where you read one quote a day--but honestly I don't want to put it down. I pray several rosaries a day, yet I find things in there that make me want to pray more, to grow closer to Jesus through Mary and to explore the people, Father Donald is quoting. There is truly something here for everyone from quotes by saints, venerables and blesseds you've likely not heard of before to new ways to think about the rosary and Mary herself. This is a book every Christian- not only Catholics should own. do yourself a favor and read it! I plan on getting several more copies as gifts.

It was not exactly what I expected. I thought I would be reading the HISTORY of the rosary.It actually is a commentary from many, many different holy people about the rosary that canbe used every day to enlighten and encourage. I like it a lot.
