I loved these rivet nuts they did their job. I used them in a jeep I’m working on.

These are just like any other M8 rivnuts, the only difference was free shipping and they arrived 3 day earlier than the tracking info stated. Will definitely buy again

Tested 6 of them on a piece of sheet steel and all 6 installed correctly and held up to a torque test of 25 Nm for M8-1.25 threads.Tip: even though these are steel you can successfully install one or a few with a M8 bolt, a flat washer, a nut, and 2 box wrenches. You don't need super human strength either. Good alternative if you don't have the clearance for the giant installation tools or simply plan on installing a few. Just practice on a drilled piece of scrap sheet metal a few times.

These are pretty cool! For the 8mm size I drilled a 13/32 hole and pounded the insert into place. (Tried it also with a 7/16 hole--still works but tougher to collapse the insert because it wants to wobble around.) Inserted an 8.8 bolt with a thrust washer-- https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JQ26HSW/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_6 --under the head and collapsed the insert to 26 ft lbs. Seems that trying to torque beyond 28 ft lbs will cause the insert to lose its grip and start spinning.

I needed high quality nutcerts to replace some on my Jeep Wrangler. These fitted perfectly and are very solid. Quality looks top-notch.I'm happy to recommend them; they are cheap and there's a lot in the package = good value for money.

They suited my needs but beware these Chinese made rivnuts are not U.S. made Marson quality. The steel is thinner and overall diameter is smaller so check your holes' size.
