Black Custom US Military Dog Tag Personalized ID Set. Complete with Chains and Silencers

Wow! Where do I start with this seller? You’ve been hearing the phrase "that's what's wrong with this country" a lot these days? Well this seller is "what's RIGHT with this country". I placed an order with this gentleman and my order arrived in like in two days through the U.S. Postal mail. YES the U.S. Postal mail! I almost fainted. The embossing was perfect. And they were like the set issued to me in boot camp with the silencers. One minor problem though. He sent me two sets of the silver ones instead of the black ones like I asked for. I sent him an email letting him know and I told him I liked them and it was cool. He responded and offer to correct the issue. I said no because he sent me two sets for the price of one. HERE IS THE CRAZY PART PEOPLE! I sent that email on a Saturday morning. Monday I checked my mail box and he sent me the correct set everything perfect and he emailed another apology and told me to keep the first set and he covered all the shipping cost. He lost time and money on the deal and he was still apologizing to me. I bet you this guy lets people get off the elevators before attempting to get on, walks elderly people across the street and holds the door for people of all colors and creed. "This guy is what's right in with this country folks". I go to the VA every day for chemo and radiation treatment to fight the cancer inside me. I posted his Amazon web address on a flyer on the main bulletin board in the VA hospital lobby and I tell my fellow Vets this story and tell them about Amazon’s website. I gave one of the extra sets to my younger brother and he won't take them off. He says they make him feel proud to live in this country and they serve as a great conversation starter as well. “If you’re a VET buy a set”. If you’re not get them for a VET you know and if you maybe ask if you can get a second pair with his or her name on them to show you care and are proud to live in the United States Of A America and support our military. In closing I’d like to tell you that during my radiation sessions I have to take them off. One of the four radiation the techs take turns wearing them for good luck for me. Hey the cancer is in remission so maybe this guy has magic cancer fighting dog tags. Kidding. Thanks seller, and Amazon, “Amazon for my cancer free life”.

The turnaround time on these dog tags was very quick. I received an email from Tag-Z at the email address assigned to my Amazon account two days after ordering the tags. The email requested what information I wanted on the tags. I received two tags, which have the same information on them, just a few days after replying to Tag-Z.Characteristics:1. The tags are made of a very thin metal, much thinner than the dog tags issued by the military. These tags bend very easily.2. Each column of characters lines up perfectly, even where the characters are a 1 or an I.3. If you use all the available spaces on a line, the last character will be obscured by the rubber silencer.4. You get to choose what color silencers you want on your tags when you fill out the tag information in the email exchange with the company. The tags themselves are black.5. The tags are shipped in a plastic baggie, and a business card for Tag-Z comes with the tags.All in all, a great value for a very low price.

Dog tags and rubber silencers came as advertised and in a timely manner. I've ordered four sets so far. One set for each for myself and significant other and two sets for inserting one tag each in boots and jogging shoes as a means of ID in case of accident. These tags are larger and contain more information for a cheaper price than other items joggers and hikers can purchase. Different information was used on the dog tags worn around the neck and those I inserted in shoe laces for emergencies.My only problem with this product was the rubber silencers; they are light weight and frequently pop off the dog tag. They aren't the heavier duty silencers used by the military, but for the price, I cannot complain. Despite this minor gripe, I whole heartedly recommend these dog tags for anyone who wants to give a gift, have a set for themselves or has a need for using such a tag in their shoes, on pets or any other use desired.

These are absolutely perfect.The item is exactly as pictured and everything is ready to wear right out of the plastic bag they come in. You receive one long dog chain and the short dog chain attached to the long one. Both dog tags have the silencers on them and are on the chains. The engraving that I requested was accurate and looked great. The black is a pure black and has shown no fading after a week of wear.I personally love these dog tags because they are personal to me with the engraving I requested, and I never see anyone wearing black ones.I highly recommend these to anyone, especially at such a cheap price with fast delivery. It literally took the seller a day to finish engraving the product, yet I did have to wait until the 5th day of the 3-5 day expected delivery to receive them.

I am retired. Did not want one of those 'medic alert' bracelets. SO, I orderd these. Included my Full name, D.O.B., Wife's name, home telephone number, wife's cell phone number, my blood type and (my medical conditions):diabetic.Have shown my dogtags to several ER RN's. They claim it provides more "ON THE SPOT" easy to access information than a Medical ID Bracelet. And it is something they would look for if I arrived at the ER unable to speak. I WEAR IT ALL THE TIME!!! (...except when we feel frisky)

This is the second set I bought. I loved the first set, it came already "put together", assembled in the package. I ended up losing it and bought a new set (same vendor/ same price). The second set I got came in a package (marked Made in China), where I had to put together the dog tag, basically, put the plastic piece around the tag, connect the tags to the chain ,etc. Putting it together was not a problem, but it just seemed they changed vendors or something, because the plastic piece now constantly comes off the tag and I have to fix it every time I come out of the shower.
