Great motor , garbage esc
I put this set up in my slash 4x4 with the stock gearing. Ran great with 2s . So i ran 3s . The truck was doing wheelies!! I took a flat out run up the street and poof!! Smoke starts billowing out. ESC melt down. I put the traxxas vxl esc back in. Im doing wheelies again!! I love the motor . You can keep the esc.

It never powered up.
Was going to use in my scx10iii basecamp. Made the mistake of installing it before testing it so I had to pull it back out of my truck to return it. Motor seemed like it was decent but the esc, besides not turning on, just felt and looked cheap. Decided to go the route of a name brand esc motor combo for 4 times the price of this one. No issues there, but thats what you get when you spend the money. Save your money.
