Metal Quilling Uniform, Precise Fringer

The biggest problem I have with this is you really can't use it for anything less than 3/8" because it just cuts it all the way through. So if you're using it for miniatures be aware of that. It does work ok for the most part. However I think for the price of it that it should work really well instead of okay. If you have a lot of flowers to make and you don't mind them being larger then it should work ok for you.

This fringer only fringes strips that are 1/4" to 3/8" wide. My craft shops only sell the strips that are 1/8" of an inch wide so this fringer is USELESS! I didn't notice that the widths it can fringe are not posted on the advertisement, well, there's a reason for that, they know it wont cut the average sized quilling strips.I got it yesterday, saw that it was useless, contacted Achilles Trade who are the ones who sold it to me. This is what they said:Sure, we will take it back with the following provisions:We charge a 15% restocking fee AND and additional 4.75 for shipping and handling.So, I will be out 10.75 and nothing to show for it but an empty box! Plus, I can't get it to work on ANY size piece of paper!DO NOT BUY THIS FRINGER! IT IS A RIPOFF!

purchased this tool for fringing, read about the thickness it works with and it performs as advertised... fringes 3/8 inch strips the best, a very common quilling paper size, i often cut my own paper to the size i need... while it will not auto feed the last inch one can pull the paper through to fringe the entire strip of paper... this tool is fast, even and sure beats manual cutting... i recommend this tool for anyone that likes to make fringed flowers, trees, curly hair, etc.

If you are a quiller like I am and like the fringe look for some of your designs then you should give the precise fringer a try.It's a lot faster then using scissors.

I have looked at this tool for years and finally took a chance and purchased it. WOW. I have NOT been disappointed in any manner, only that I didn't get it sooner. It is precise, quick and easy.

Worked just fine. A lot better than trying hand make fringe. A little pricey unless you are planning to use it often.

I ordered this product twice. It's too small and awkward. Needs a new design. I didn't like it.
