This one cooks rice very well, both white and brown. And it is convenient, when it works. But I was hesitant to buy a touch screen, since they are always hard to use and intermittent. Sure enough, after about three weeks, this one failed entirely. It was totally blank. So I unplugged it to reset it, and at least it turned on. But the "stop" button was stuck, and would not turn on. Finally, I figured out how to turn it on, by running my finger up from the bottom to the middle. The "start" button is then the blank space in the middle. The stop button is still stuck, but at least it works to stop it.I would send it back, but at least I know how to get this one working. The next one would fail in some other way. I will keep it as long as it cooks rice well.I would prefer buttons to the miserable touch screen.

WOW - Great little machine. Really luv this - makes perfect rice in a breeze. Flavor is outstanding. Great for a couple, small family.

Few month before I bought a cheap small cooker at walmart . The paint inside was starting to come off soon, the rice would stick on the bottom. until bought the Mishcdea Small Rice Cooker. Mishcdea rice cooker inside bowl heavy than was one, good sealing performance, when cooking no water out .It is better for cook any food.

It arrived and 2 of the touchscreen buttons work.

Best rice maker I have had. Makes fluffy rice. Perfect for two. Not for a large family.

Absolutely wonderful product arrived in great condition (well packaged and no damages) and functions perfectly. It was a little confusing at first because you need to hold the 'off' button for three seconds to cancel a selection, and I almost thought the button was broken before rereading the instructions. The options menu is great, I love the quick-cooking option. The product also has no weird smell and does not affect the taste of the rice. The pot after is very easy to clean after use as well, with no hard scrubbing since it is non-stick. It is a little pricy, but considering its small size, functionality, and aesthetic product design, it is a fairly good value. Great product if you are living on your own, a student, working individual or have a small family.
