And the Winner Is...ThruNite TC20 V2!!
I live in an area where coyotes run amok; so of course, my new ThruNite TC20 V2 is indispensable. Not only is the Desert Tan color a must these days (if you catch my drift), especially if you live in a gated community, the size is also perfect for walking around the beach at night without feeling like a buffoon lugging a big ol' hammer. As you have heard by now, it is VERY bright. In fact, it is the brightest flashlight I have seen at this price range. My Rechoo is bright, but ThruNite is about three times the brightness in Turbo mode!! Mind you, Rechoo is relatively bright, but I believe it is NOT "2000 high lumens." Whenever I turn on the Turbo during my walks, people cannot help but notice. Again, it is that bright, floodlight bright (unlike spotlight). It is brighter than the Olight Warrior X Pro...for my purpose. ThruNite is even brighter than my sports car's high-beam! True, the TC20 V2 does not go as far as Olight's focused light. When walking on the beach, however, who cares about long distance light anyway, especially since I cannot see that far anyway; I want my gear to flood the area with light! And ThruNite TC20 V2 is a lot cheaper.Suggestions: Get a good charger with a 1000mA for faster charging time since this battery can handle it, and insert it just before you use the flashlight to avoid "battery vampire power loss."

USB-C Limitation
The USB-C charging port is on the narrow side so it will not allow use of standard USB-C cables. However, it does work with the included USB-C cable, and if you really wanted to use it with other cables, you would have to be sure to use USB-C cables with a narrow head, or you could shave about 1mm of material off the shoulders of whatever you already have.Everything else about this torch seems well done.

Just get this light- checks ALL the boxes except for 1 little box
Firstly let me start by saying that I absolutely love this light. Build quality, brightness, throw and durability are all top notch. This has a CREE LED which is the best in the industry, when a lot of other lights in this category come with el-cheapo LEDs inside prettied up specs. This is the light I keep in my car for anything. The fact that it has standard USB C recharging means I don’t have to carry around another cable. If you are not a light/ battery aficionado, stop reading here and just get the damn light. It’s an excellent light that will serve you well.I have to ding it 1 star though (cause I can’t ding it only 1/2 star, which is what I really wanna do) for a little less than optimal battery. Having recently released this light they had an option to move to the battery that is quickly becoming the industry standard for this size- 21700; and I have a few extras of these batteries laying around the house that can be used if one were to fail. 26650 is a good battery, but it has matured as a battery and most tier 1 manufacturers (including thrunite’s other lights) have started moving to the 21700. So this just feels like a missed opportunity for a truly no-compromise light. But it’s only a little ding, and I still love this light and can recommend it to anyone.

Ergonomic nightmare
It's a great light -- hefty and thick, makes a strong diffuse beam. You'll be the envy of your campsite with this light. The switch/button could be made to stand out a bit more. I have a hard time finding it with my thumb, because exactly opposite the button is the charing port. I never can tell which one I'm hitting. It's like plugging in a USB plug, and then realizing it's backwards so turning it, and then realizing that was also backwards so turning it again. Sure hope I don't have to turn on this flashlight quickly in a stressful situation. If the return window hadn't closed, I would return it and buy a Zebra Light.

Bright
Spendy but brightest lite I’ve ever had. Great on the farm for lighting up the pasture at night.

Excellent flashlight
The ThruNite TC20 V2 4068 High Lumen is a great flashlight with a powerful light. Excellent flashlight, very good price and features compared to other higher priced flashlights. This is my favorite flashlight, I have several of thrunite and they are all very good lights. Before buying it I compared it with other flashlights from other brands and none of them gave me the power and quality of the Tc 20 v2. I do not regret having bought it.

Crazy bright on highest setting
This flashlight literally lights up an entire great room on the highest setting. Great light, reduced battery on highest setting and can get hot, but both to be expected for the light output.
