if you like a quick smoothie that’s not going to be difficult to clean up, it’s small, it’s attractive even on my counter, and it comes with little lids and what not that we’re handy. It’s quick and blends well. It blended through ice and frozen blueberries like a champion. And if you have to purée cat food for your cats that are having trouble eating shredded meat or what not throw it in in the blender and save yourself some money by not having to throw the little pieces of meat away. Just blend the whole thing up, And your older cats will love you for it…. and if you’re still here thinking about the cat food, throw a piece of mackerel in your cat food so they can smell it better. Old cats won’t eat what they can’t smell and holy mackerel that stuff smells lol. It’s not too noisy and it functions beautifully. It’s versatile and I’m a big fan. It even blended nuts for my smoothie.

I've had the KOIOS 850W blender for several weeks now. I purchased it to use primarily for protein shakes, but have also made a few ice drinks. It's perfect for a single serving size if you're looking to whip something up in a hurry. It's quite powerful, and has little suction cups on the bottom of the unit to help it stay in place while blending. The parts have been easy to clean and seem pretty durable overall. I use it around 2-3 times a day, and in the several weeks of ownership I have not noticed any issues. The only thing I've noticed in terms of operation is that sometimes the gear on the base of the motor unit is sometimes slightly out of perfect alignment with the blending cup gear when you engage it for blending, making it seem difficult to press down. It's super easy to resolve this though...just move the gear slightly clockwise to better line the gears up, and try again. I've never had an issue with it doing this and it affects the operation in no way. I'd gladly buy one of these again in the future.

I have been a wand blender user for decades, but got tired of the cheap drive parts made of plastic wearing out, and no wand blender has both a steel connector AND a steel drive train. So I paid more for a Waring blender because it is considered the most reliable and it is a bit quieter, but it doesn't blend thoroughly and doesn't mix without a ton of muscle power (the unit is heavy and you have to move it around) because the blades are straight. Oatmeal, spinach, mango... basically everything is still chunky in a smoothie, and I think this blender was only made for soups. It has been shelved indefinitely.Enter the KOIOS personal blender. The draw for me is that the connection to the blades is built in such a way that is shouldn't wear out after only a year like the wand blenders I've bought. I have found that spinach, oatmeal, mangoes, lemons, and everything else are blended smoothly within a minute, and without me having to coax the ingredients towards the blades.The unit is powerful, somewhat quiet for a blender, and fairly versatile. It comes with 2 types of blade/cup combos, one I use to make smoothies, the other I use for pesto, marinades, etc. Additionally, the smaller cup with the longer blades seems to work to remove the grittiness from my creatine supplement when mixed with lemon juice. Because lemon juice needs to be blended with spinach to make the iron content accessible, I just combine all three and merge it into the rest of my smoothie afterward. You'll thank me when it doesn't feel like you're chewing on sand!The blades are easy to clean since they and the gasket pop out of the base. Usually a rinse when it's fully assembled is enough to clean them, but every so often I pop out the parts and throw them in the dishwasher after along with the cups. Additionally, I have sometimes spilled inside the blender unit, but I can rinse it out when I'm done using it for the day and it doesn't seem to get water inside. I'm NOT saying it's ok to submerge it in water; The inside is just easy to clean.I find it handy to be able to make one smoothie for immediate consumption and store another using the lid (for my girlfriend, who sleeps in).I'm totally and surprisingly satisfied with this blender (and I'm a hard man to please with blenders).
