I don’t review products. 10 years ago I just happened to need a purple hose for non-potable use and this was the only one I could find, though a bit expensive. I’ve had the hose for ten years now and it has outlasted every other “anti-kink” or unbreakable hose I’ve had since. Its worth every penny because after ten years the hose is still like new. This is one of those rare “buy it for life” items and it makes sense that it costs more. This is such a cliche but I’ll never buy another hose again. I bought a blue one a few years ago to replace a hose I have in an automatic reel. I have a hose in the front that needs to be replaced and I’d rather deal with that crappy hose for a bit longer to save up and buy another dramm and never have to buy another hose again. I wish project farm would have included them in their hose tests. But they don’t test longevity. Never thought I would write a review about a hose but here I am, impressed.

This hose feels solid unlike any other hose I've ever had. Not lightweight but I doubt it'll fail like every other hose I've ever owned. Worth the money. Bought a second as well.

Nice hose but very heavy not good for the elderly.

I like that you can pick what color hose you want, it's flexible, with a lifetime warranty but I've only had it for a little over 3 months I use it almost every night at work for my pressure washer with hot water, hopefully they honor the warranty

I purchased this 25ft water hose to replace my 2 week old bionic metal water hose which was complete junk. Anyways I did some research before purchasing this hose which is not cheap for such a small length but I am glad I purchased it. The bright yellow is nice looking and the overall quality of the hose seems to be very well made. Time will tell.I’m also highly impressed by Amazon for getting it here so quickly. I placed the order last night before going to bed and it arrived today around 2pm.Update September 7, 2022I liked the hose a lot so ended up buying another. The price is great for this quality product. Arrived quickly.

I bought the 5/8" 50' hose (red). The hose itself feels really high-quality, but I've only had this hose for a few months, but it clearly has a heavier heft to it and is rubber, not plastic. many folks may complain about kinking of the hose, but I find that the vast majority of people do not wind a hose properly. If you just loop the hose over the rack in one direction you will invariably introduce twists into the hose. If you YouTube videos on how to wind hose or rope without creating twists, this will solve all your kinking-issues. In other words, there is a right way to coil hose and a wrong way. because this hose is heavier-duty than most typical hoses, it should RESIST kinking, but if the hose is all twisted coming off the rack, there's not much you can do. For my application, I do wish I got a longer hose, but it would make the hose much heavier as it is a heavy-duty hose. Anyway, I am a happy customer and would recommend. I hope it has the durability to last outdoors in the SoCal sun for many years...

This hose is advertised as anti-kink but it is far from it! It's a fight to get it straight every time.

I used to sell hose, and can tell you that this is the best retail gardening product you will find if you are seeking a heavy duty hose. Its heavy, does not kink easily (Not at all of pressure is on). Best yet it actually is made of rubber and if I get half the life I got out of the hose I inherited from my Grandmother, I will be quite happy. A word of caution though, this hoes is heavy and suggest a hose reel to be used with it.

You buy a hose to do ONE thing - deliver water from the source faucet to the end of the hose. Well, this Dramm hose fails miserably because it has no soft rubber washer at the end where it screws onto the faucet. As a result, major leaks at the faucet. I have bought a lot of hoses during my life and never ever have I come across one without a rubber washer. After all, we're talking a an item worth a few cents; wouldn't you expect that to be included when you pay $75 for a hose?! Another reviewer commented on this too, and I chose to ignore it as I assumed it was just an anomaly / was lost during shipping. Nope, not included! Now I have to make a trip to the hardware store before I can use the Damm hose...

Color is not the same as the matching red trigger nozzle by the same company - it's more of a coral as opposed to the cherry red of the matching trigger spray nozzle....and it will probably fade if not coiled up in the shade during hot Summer days...but ...it's a hose... so whatevs'. I was surprised to see that it kinks but it does feel like a quality rubber so I'll deal with the kinking for my light gardening purposes. The metal attachments are very good quality! Even though the hose wasn't exactly as I hoped, the rubber feel seems like it will make for a good investment over time and is certainly an improvement over my last hose - we will see!

This has been a nice hose all last summer. It was outside in the sun the entire time. And although the sun did warm it up, it likes to stay coiled. Also .... it is NOT kink-free. But I’ve never used one that is, aside from a pure black rubber one that I have.A great hose though, sturdy, thick, nice fittings, has good flow and looks good. Will definitely buy this brand again when the time comes.

I was so excited when I got my purple hose. My husband hooked it up for me so it has been outside for about 6 weeks. The color of it is definitely changing and its getting a brown hue to it. I am so disappointed. I bought it because it was purple. I could have brought a green hose for half the price. Definitely not worth the money!
