Calcium Oxide 500g Lab Grade (Lime)

I have to point out that this was not calcium oxide-qualitative analysis revealed it is calcium carbonate.

I had some old unneeded organic material around and I thought I could speed up the decomposition using lime, just like in all the old movies.Didn't work at all. In fact, I'm guessing (without comparative data it's hard to be sure) that using this product actually _retarded_ decomposition in the, um, subject matter. Frankly, after an extended period, it looks rather, well, _mummified_.Would not buy again.
