Easy to work with and finished product looks clean and high quality. I used for lights and, I cut out decals on my laser cutting machine (Omtech co2 80 watt) and it worked really well. Hopefully they don't get greedy and up the price, but the price now is great for high quality product and I 100% recommend.

I just purchased a pre-owned IOM Camaro and never paid much attention to the number of others on the road so I decided to do a couple mods that would set mine apart. One of the mods was to darken my tail lights and this looked like a good option. Obviously, I was concerned with the visibility of my turn/brake lights and this has reduced their brightness by probably 30% or so; I guess the next step is LEDs because I really like the way they look now. I would really be hesitant to put them on my headlights just because I like to see where I'm going at night and my older eyes need all the help they can get.As for application, on the first attempt, I cleaned the lights with Dawn and wiped them down with Isopropyl alcohol. I had my pieces cut with an inch or two on each side so I could pull on the film as needed and sprayed a mixture of Dawn and water and laid the tint over the lens. I'd done that with window tint and it really helped but not so much in this case. The problem was that the tail light is curved so I would get one section squeegeed out but it would move when I went to another section. I tried drying with the heat gun and that resulted in me stretching the vinyl so I pulled it off, cleaned it again, watched Utube and after a couple of beers I was ready to go again. This time I tried it without the soapy solution and worked from the center out just using quick passes with the heat gun and my fingers instead of the squeegee and did three of them in the time it took me to do the first one. The advantage of using your fingers is you can feel how warm the film is ... it shouldn't be hot. You also have better control over laying it down. It is a thin material but if it were any thicker, it would be harder to work with. Don't try to rush it and you should be okay

I had zero problems with this item. I put this on headlights, taillights, third brake light. I used a piece of white typing paper and drew an outline of each and cut to fit. The only issue I had was it was a dark on my headlights, so I made some modifications to it and it looks awesome. It adhered to the lights like super glue, but you will be able to pull it off without tearing it. Will order again.

first at all, this product is really weak there is no way you can stretch it to cover a complete surface, it will ripped right away,second, is not wide enough. It was a complete waste even if you use a heat gun this will make it even weakernow, if your lights have any angles or corners that intersect forget it.. It's just not good for curved surfacessince this material is perforated, debris will stick to it (dirt, Cloth wool...)

As a Nissan Leaf owner, these headlights look FUNNNY! So this stuff really does a nice job to give the car more attitude. Goes on super easy, and is very forgiving. Make sure not to pull to hard and give it plenty of slack in any convex curves or it will naturally want to lift and bridge forming what looks like a bubble. Easy to correct, pull it back up and re-apply. I still have yet to test it in washing. Curious to see how it does over time. For the price, I don't really care if it only lasts a couple years as I'll just buy more and do it again. Maybe even in a different color.

Installed on my wife's hheadlights. Gives the smoked out look. Only complaint is I wish it came with more for the price. Only enough to barely do 1 set of headlghts.
