OtterBoxDEFENDER SERIES XT Case with MagSafe for Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max - Black

I've had the case for a few months and i'll admit it's saved my phone plenty of times with how thick and protective it is. At first I didn't like how big it made my phone but I got used to it. Now I feel reassured my phone is protected from my clumsy hands.

Perfect fit, so durable, color does not fade.

For years I used Otterbox phone cases but often times found them to be too bulky. I switched to an Apple brand case and used it for years until it fell apart. I found this to be not so bulky, easy to get my phone in and out of to clean. The magnetic charging feature works well and hasn’t failed me. As for protection goes, it works really well as I’ve dropped my phone a few times and held up well, the plastic didn’t get scraped up and my phone is still in tact. I don’t regret buying Otterbox.

I have been using Otter-box defender cases since the my first iPhone which was the 3GS. They are tried and true for preventing accidental damage to your phone. The only time I’ve damaged my phone over the years is when I didn’t have my otter-box defender case on. The trade off for this cases extreme ruggedness is that it is bulky. For some people it’s not a worthwhile trade off but I’ve seen too many people constantly get their phones broken because they were using a thin fashionable case when they accidentally dropped them. For me personally the bulkiness of the case isn’t an issue. I enjoy the peace of mind knowing that when I accidentally drop my phone that it’s not going break. Additionally, the cost can be a bit much for some people but I think it’s a good investment considering the cost of phones theses days and it’s also still cheaper than the cost to repair a damaged phone. The MagSafe functionality is great because I can still use a wireless charger and my MagSafe wallet with this case. Lastly otterbox does stand by their products. Once in the past I had an issue with a case of theirs that didn’t hold up as expected and after submitting a warranty claim and supporting images they replaced the case.Dislikes: The rubber dust cover over the charging port is flimsily connected and broke off after about 6 months. Older models of this case did have a built in plastic screen protector which I’m glad they did stop using because it would get micro abrasions over time and become very hazy. However, I do feel like that this case should now come with a tempered glass screen protector included but it does not so you’ll have to buy that separately.TLDR: Very sturdy case that protects against accidental drops but the charging port dust cover broke off after a while, it’s kinda pricey and this doesn’t come with a screen protector. However it’s a quality product from a company that stands by their products with a good warranty. I would recommend this product to family and friends.

I got this as a gift for a friend and she loves how it works with MagSafe chargers.

Good fit.. Great protection

This phone case is really sturdy and mounts onto my phone very securely. This case does not have a screen protector that gets in the way of the touchscreen which is great. The case itself is well built and protects my phone every time I drop my phone (at least once a day.)

What can I say…it’s an Otterbox! The BEST protection for your phone. I have always had an Otterbox for my phone and have never broken a phone when I’ve dropped them.

I like the port protection and it works super well with MagSafe. Not as protective as my last other box case though. It was a Defender case also but didn’t have the MagSafe, but it had a rubberized coating and the case broke before even having a scratch on my phone.

So far, my first impressions are this is an absolutely brilliant case, this is the 3rd case I’ve bought for my iPhone 12 Max Pro since I got the phone less than a month ago, the previous 2 cases I had (including a Spigen, my usual go to brand for phone cases) didn’t gel with me at all!I was a little hesitant in ordering this case at first as it was not released at the time of ordering so had no reviews for it and it cost double of what I paid for my previous 2 cases combined, in the end I decided what the heck, if I wasn’t happy then I could always return it.I guess my doubts all vanished the moment I opened the box, the case just oozes quality from the the first moment I held it in my hands and once I fitted it onto my phone, it seemed like a match made in heaven, the grip on the case was perfect, I felt like I could still have a firm grip even with sweaty hands and not worry about it slipping out of my hand, my phone felt rugged and well protected and that it could withstand dropping.As advertised the case is Magsafe compatible and the magnetic connection is much stronger than my previous cases, I’d say the connection is even more stronger than WITHOUT the case, it took a bit of force to prise it off my Magsafe charger!If there’s a bad point about this case then I’d say it may make the phone slightly bigger for some people but for me I was actually happy with the added size.All in all I was more than happy with this case and highly recommend it if you’re after case that provides good protection.

E sempre per lavoro spesso mi trovo fuori e anche in posti dove se mi capitasse la tragedia di rompere il mio telefono sarei davvero perso…Ecco perché da anni uso custodie ultra - protettive tipo Griffin Survivor e OtterBOX. Oggi recensisco questa robusta cover serie Defender XT per iPhone 12 PRO Max della OtterBOX ricevute grazie al programma Vine. In cambio del prodotto, Amazon chiede alle voci Vine di fornire un'opinione sincera e obiettiva del prodotto ed è quello che andrò a fare con questa recensione.Ecco le cose che mi sono piaciute di questa cover protettiva:- La cover protegge. Punto. Non c’ altro da aggiungere; inoltre, sia lo schermo LCD sul davanti che le fotocamere sul retro risultano ben protette grazie ai bordini più morbidi e rialzati- A differenza di altre cover progettate per lo stesso scopo questa ha una linea più sottile e meno ingombrante; in tasca entra e si sfila bene, mentre in mano non è eccessivamente goffa, si impugna con sicurezza grazie ai bordini gommati e non scivola con le mani bagnate- E’ bella, è realmente bella, non è per nulla goffa come ho già scritto!- I tasti sono ben fatti e rispondono bene in maniera precisa- Gli intagli per il cavetto di ricarica (che lo sportellino di protezione!), agli altoparlanti e il tastino laterale sinistro per il muto sono davvero ben fatti e “abbastanza” raggiungibili (se siete senza unghie come me, vi faranno perdere un po’ di tempo…)- Il grip è favoloso! La custodia è in plastica rigida, ma i bordi sono gommati; non raccoglie assolutamente pelucchi come le cover in 100% silicone- Il MagSafe è FAVOLOSO: anche con charger magnetici scrausi e con la calamita che attacca poco non avrete problemi perché questa cover, essendo compatibile, permette un bell’attacco forte; in auto non cade mai una volta dal charger magnetico anche in caso di frenate e curve brusche- Fatta con materiali compatibili 5GAspetti da considerare:- Per la sua linea più sottile e aggraziata rispetto ai modelli più grandi questa cover non ha nessuna protezione su schermo e fotocamere posteriori (se non consideriamo i bordini rialzati) intese come plastiche o vetrini da apporre sopra; personalmente vi consiglio (come ho fatto io) di integrare a questa cover anche i classici vetrini protettivi- Personalmente, potevano evitare lo (scomodo) sportellino di protezione per il cavetto di ricarica che va aperto ogni volta…un problema per chi non ha unghie come me!Chi compra OtterBOX non vuole ritrovarsi con il telefono rotto alla prima caduta e questo OtterBOX lo garantisce. La cover fa il lavoro per cui è stata concepita, è una cover che definirei “militare”, incluso troverete anche il laccetto che si aggancia all’asola ricavata nella plastica della cover stessa (particolare ben fatto).Prezzo? Tenetevi forte! 64,99€!! Ma quello che posso dirvi dopo aver provato almeno una dozzina di cover per il mio telefono è: questa cover è la migliore in assoluto provata finora.A chi la consiglio? Militari e forzi dell’ordine! A chi piace viaggiare (meglio se in posti remoti e poco civilizzati) o semplicemente a chi tiene particolarmente al proprio telefono!Aggiornamento agosto 2021: utilizzata questa cover per un road trip di un mese mi ha salvato il telefono più volte da cadute rovinose. Indispensabile se viaggiate.
