Price is a little high for what you get
tl;wr - as long as you're not expecting too much out of inexpensive speakers, these should work just fine for you. They're just not as inexpensive as I think they should be for what they are.I bought these as soon as I saw availability, without waiting for any reviews. The one review that showed up after I had received, but before I had used had me very worried. As that review stated, the box does not match the contents. I comes with 2 sets of rubber pads of differing thickness to be used depending on whether you are fastening to a hard (elite) or flexible (stock) strap. The ticker pads had not been properly cut, so I had to manually trim them to get them to fit where intended. They are very light, and I was concerned the clips that hold the clamps closed would snap, but they did not. The clamps hold very firmly. The hold very firmly, and once clamped, do not slide on the strap. They are hinged and rotate a bit, so it's not as critical to get them placed perfectly the first time. It took me a little bit to get used to the "floppy" feeling of them hanging (somewhat loosely) against my ears. The stock strap doesn't provide much stability against which the headphones can leverage to press more firmly against the ears. To mitigate this a little, there seems to be an internal spring mechanism. Once I convince my hind brain that they weren't in constant danger of falling off, I got past this. I assume this isn't as much of a thing with a rigid side strap.Sound: It seems even among us "not audiophiles", there are gradations. To level set, I'm perfectly ok with with the sound quality of the stock speakers. I found nothing to complain about with the sound from the AMVR speakers. For me it is clear, and even crisp. Does their bass rumble your skull? No. Could you tell the difference between a violin and a fiddle? Ok, trick question. They sound fine. They're not awesome, but they're not crap (well, not any moreso than your average $20 headphones). With the stock speakers, I'm usually running at full volume. With these headphones, I'll end up with the volume from 2-4 bars below max (unless I'm looking for the loud, and then compared to stock, it "goes to 11" - not better, just louder. No distortion, though, so a 'clean' louder). I have also experienced an increase in my own level of immersiveness. I've honestly been very impressed with the 3d effect of the sound provided by the stock speakers. Considering their size/location, especially relative to ear position, I consider this an notable accomplishment. The AMVR headphones just kick that up a notch or so with the speakers being right next to your ears.Quality: They "feel cheap". They are very lightweight, and I am honestly concerned too much un/re-clipping will eventually result in breakage. I have experienced nothing whatsoever that indicates this is fact, it's just my impression. Aside from that, though, they have performed very satisfactorily.Price: Too high by about 10 bucks. Allowing for the fact that these have been designed to work with the stock strap (I'm not aware of another similar solution that does... haven't looked all that hard). If I was a company pricing these to sell (and having no idea about production costs), I'd go for $18.99 or so. That's about the price point for me that if they broke, and it wasn't my fault, I'd be more inclined to buy a replacement than going through a return process. At the $29.99 price point these should not feel as "delicate" as they do.

Decent, but not great.
These headphones are simple and easy to install. They fit as described and do not cause any discomfort. My main gripe is that they do not sit snug and are not very loud. If you have trouble hearing the built in speakers, these will not help. They do have a slightly higher quality to the sound, if you can position them right. And if you have multiple people using the headset, they are not easy to adjust. The plastic clips weaken fast so its best to set and leave them. They also wobble quite a bit so active games make them slide away from your ear. I gave 4 stars because they do exactly as described. No false advertising here. But they could be a bit louder and easier to adjust and have stronger clips.

Three problems
The product is not bad for the price, but it does not accomplish my objectives.I was hoping to increase sound volume as some movies have annoying low volume. As designed the speakers sit to far away from the ear so volume output is actually less then the built in speakers. The speakers have flexibility but are missing a spring to keep the speakers against the ear. Using the designed flexibility I velcro tied the speakers closer to the ear, so I fixed that problem. With the speakers closer to the ear, the volume is the same as the original Oculos speakers. However, the sound has less bass and is much tinnier. Not bad but I think a cheaper quality speaker, or at least the sound output is stronger treble then base. The product quality is not bad, but it is a hard plastic that if not treated delicately might break. On the positive side, I suspect that if used in a room with other people this product may increase privacy and decrease the external volume from the Oculos.

Sounds decent, needs a few improvements.
I own the HTC DAS strap and moved it to my quest 2 from my quest one. I bought these to use in case I end up buying the elite battery strap in the future. In the mean time, I attached them to my quest 1, which fit well. The sound is similar to the DAS strap with decent bass but you need to adjust them over your ears and press them in to get the full range. These are not index style, they are still meant to be in contact with your ears. The design looks good and the cabling is perfect to route for a hidden look. I also like the fact that the cable is braided and not the cheap split cables from the input jack that other sets have. These look and fit a lot cleaner than any other sets I’ve seen. However, there are three things that could make these great:1. They are made of cheaper plastic, this makes them feel very fragile and everything creaks.2. The movement of the earpieces is very rigid and limited. To compare, the DAS articulates very smoothly and has no issues adjusting to my ear.3. The headphones are not padded enough. You can easily feel the hard plastic once you press them to your ears.Overall, if you just need headphones for your strap, these could work. I hope there is a version two in the future with smoother articulation, better plastic, and more cushion. Also, white would’ve been a great option. The price seems about $10 too high also, but with these upgrades a future version would be worth it. I will say, there are not many options and AMVR does have some good accessories for the quest.

product is ehh
I bought this a while ago and here are some complaints. The headphones dont press against your ears enough, the audio is too quiet, and the sound quality is decent. Wouldn't buy again
