Best quality I've ever seen for the price!
For this Civivi product, the knife in hand has lived up to every bit of the hype I have seen so far - and that is saying something! Everything about the Brazen, from its looks, action, ergonomics, the feel of the G-10 handle (nothing fancy, but its simple yet graceful shape fits in the hand PERFECTLY, at least for my big ol' ham hands!), the liner lock, the razor sharp blade out of the cool Civivi zipper case (with a mirror edge finish; not the coarse, toothy almost-serration you get with a lot of new knives) - even the sound as the aesthetically beautiful blade snaps into the locked position - ALL of it says, "WOW!" I'm sure there are other knives out there that offer all of those features (I've seen a few Civivi models that come close - I was considering a couple of others before I saw the Brazen, but once I got a good look at the contours of the blade and handle of the Brazen, and saw the Sandvik steel (rather than the D2 that many competitors use at the same price point), the choice was easy. I am not one of those knife collectors who can just toss off a few hundred on five or six knives on a whim - I waited for six months for the opportunity to spend money on my own guilty pleasure, and I have no buyer's remorse. This is a GREAT KNIFE. That's about it.

Love this knife
Discovered this brand a short while back and instantly fell in love. The Brazen 3.5” is my personal EDC knife of choice. Since buying this knife I have bought another for myself and two as gifts. Blade came in very sharp already, beautifully crafted Damascus steel. The handle is comfortable and has a slip resistant grip and the knife is very lightweight. If I had to come up with a complaint, I like the clip on the opposite end of the knife compared to its location on this knife, but that’s more of a personal preference. Overall recommend any civivi knife.

Well made, nice blade shape, but uncomfortable handle.
I really wanted to love this knife because it has a great drop-point blade profile with quite a lot of cutting edge for the size of knife it is. I don't care about damascus but it's the only model with th micarta scales, and I strongly prefer micarta over other materials. This micarta is great, has a high-gripping soft feel, and is a very dark green that is almost a dark gray. It looks nice. My main problem with the knife is ergonomics. Somehow the handle is just slightly too short, even for a pretty medium-sized hand, and there's a hot spot on the pocket clip right at the end over the screw holes. Unfortunately, even with the pocket clip removed the handle length is still a problem, and the lanyard loop protrudes uncomfortably into the palm. After opening some letters I'm also underwhelmed by the factory sharpness on the blade (seems to have an almost golf-ball dimpled texture on the blade that's hard to know from pictures, and very slight if any hollow grind). For this same price I would have to recommend the CJRB micarta Scoria as a comperably-sized knife with better ergos, better pocket clip (milled titanium), better steel (AR-RPM9), and better sharpness out of the box.

Brazen and bold!
Exactly what I was looking for in a liner lock knife!

Extremely high value
This caught my attention because of the 14C28N steel. From my experience I can’t tell the difference between 14C28N, VG10, or 154CM. They are my favorite blade steels due to pretty good edge retention and ease of sharpening. CIVIVI is fast becoming my favorite brand so when I noticed them using this steel I had to pick one up and it did not disappoint. This knife is as big as I’ll generally carry for EDC. It’s overall size is a bit smaller than a RAT1 but with about the same blade length and noticeably lighter. The opening action using either the thumb studs or the flipper is the best I have ever used. If I try it will fail to open; but that takes effort. Lockup is solid with no play. Blade is drop shut without effort and perfectly centered with an even grind.I can nitpick a couple small issues. I’m not a fan of the lanyard loop as it rubs my palm and at times creates a pressure point. Definitely would feel better if it was wider or just not there at all. I’m tempted to just cut it off. Although the G10 has a good texture it dose feel like a plastic. One thing to keep in mind; this uses pivot bearings and they need to be kept relatively clean. I wouldn’t be to concerned taking it camping but don’t think I would have taken any knife with bearings on a military deployment. When you consider the quality of materials, fit, finish and price CIVIVI knocked it out of the park. If this exact knife was made by some other companies; I suspect we’d be charged twice as much. If you want an EDC knife of this size; I can’t think of anything in this price range I’d recommend more.

One of the best knives I have ever owned and when you consider the price, it is the Best one!
I was shown a Civivi knife and a sporting goods show and went online when I got home and found this one, it checked all the boxes for me in style, color blade type and finish. It was delivered next day, and I am blown away with this knife, I do not like writing reviews so if I write one it is because it is either awesome or a total POS! This is awesome, I would have been happy to just get the knife in a cardboard box but this came with a cardboard box, micro fiber cloth, a very nice padded zipper case, and one of the sharpest best fit and finish flipper knife I have ever owned. You will be blown away with the quality and it has a full lifetime warranty with it to boot. I bought this knife and was not paid to leave a review, it was because I really like it a lot, you will to. I am going to look for another one to buy right now!

Awesome finish, great knife.
Love these liner locks. I actually bought a second one because I accidentally threw this down a trash schute at work. The colors are great. It's got multiple ways to deploy the knife. It's a bit bigger than many folks may expect. I love Civivis pocket clips, they're durable and reversible.
