Waterproof? Ha!
Within a week of installation, the protective cap covering the socket had filled up with rainwater and tripped the circuit breaker in my electric distribution box. Obviously not as waterproof as the manufacturer claimed.Solved it by fitting an O ring and drilling a drain hole in the cap.Other than that it was ok. Just be aware if you are fitting this on an outside wall.
