ball bearings
I thought this was to be used with sealed bearings, but it was for ball bearings, so it was no use to me! Don't think the bearing type was stated in the info?

It works!
I had this part fitted by a local bike shop but they didn't mention any quality issues and it has been working fine for a month at least. The only reason it isn't 5 star is I found it really difficult to figure out if it was compatible with my bike and just took a chance in the end. Seems this is an issue for everyone though as this is the reason the bike shop wouldn't order one for me.

Expected quality from SRAM. some info for the product since its missing I fitted this to a 8 speed GT CHUCKER with an 11mm a hex key Laser 4276 Hex BitLaser 4276 Hex Bit

Suitable for B’Twin bikes too
This freehub is also compatible with certain B’Twin bikes, despite the SRAM label. Perfect match for when the original one inevitably fails. Solved an issue I was having for a customer.
