So pretty! Gorgeous looking, super soft, pillowy, & silky, Made from actual silk from silkworm. The material feels nice on the face, and the silk is super gentle on skin. Depending on exactly how much light you need blocked out, this may or may not work for you. I find a little light comes in, but not enough to disrupt sleep. I am actually ok with not having 100% fully blocked. I tend to need a sleep mask as my husband stays up a little later than I do watching tv and the flicker of light drives me nuts. So a sleep mask totally takes care of it. Also helps from early morning light rousing me before I am ready to get up. When I have used full light blocking masks, it weirds me out and I tend to oversleep.My own issue with this mask is that it run small for my large head. I have a 23.75" head, and while the elastic does go around my head, it presses in- mashes my eyes. It isn't something I can use beyond the testing period. I wish products would give actual measurements. The entire mask is 21" unstretched. Stretched, it can pull as far as 28". However, the elastic is quite firm, and makes a too snug feel when it is stretched much beyond 22". So if you have a 22-22.75" head, this is likely a good fit. Larger will fit but will feel extra snug and will buckle out some of the eye portion while also pressing into eyes.It is SO PRETTY, and I am bummed that I will not be using this. I will pass it on to my mom who has a much smaller frame. Hopefully she will use it.

I've tried many sleep masks over the years, most of which I got as gifts or that were paired with another product. They're handy when my insomnia is being worsened by my housemates' light usage. I've had some that were funny, others that were comfy but none that ever were perfect... and then I got this one. The fit is flawless. It's not too tight nor too loose (frequent problems I've had) and doesn't press against my eyelids in any way. The silk is the real deal (shocking at this price point) and is so smooth and soft it's dreamy. I have had it slip off in my sleep on many occasions but once I'm asleep that doesn't bug me. As a perk it's also very beautiful, the peacock blue with the tiny embroidered plum blossoms is so elegant. I would buy this as a gift and happily get one as well. Can't rave enough!

I am susceptible to light when I sleep, so I use an eye mask for a long time. This eye mask is not the most expensive one I have ever used, but it is the most comfortable one. The silk is smooth and gives a luxurious enjoyment. Be careful when washing. Before the first use, I use cold water and shampoo to soak it for 20 minutes and then rinse by hand. Avoid direct sunlight when you air dry it. The texture remains almost the same after drying.

I have wore eye shades while sleeping almost every night for at least 15 years. Recently, I got another eye shade that is the best ever, but it cost almost twice as much as this one. I am SUPER picky about eye shades.This one has nice coverage, and it's great that the elastic part is silk covered. The design on it is beautiful and very attractive. I have a relatively small adult female face, and I wish it covered a little lower around the nose area. It would also be nice for it to have a little more padding.But again, I emphasize that I am super picky and super sensitive to light (I have room darkening shades too). This eyeshade is nicer than most I have tried, for sure!

When I read about the benefits of silk for your hair and your skin I bought my wife a silk pillow case and when our work schedules got to be very offset I got her this mask so that her sleep wouldn't be bothered by the light. Silk is such a wonderful material and my wife loves how comfortable this mask is and how effective it is at helping her stay asleep. The mask is well stitched and the elastic strap is effective at keeping this mask in place in the morning when she needs/uses it.
