Rancilio Silvia Pro Dual Boiler Dual PID Espresso Machine, Stainless Steel

This machine gives the feel of professional quality. When working and once you master timing and temperature, the espresso is everything you could ask for.The steamer is excellent.However, the water pressure for the espresso on my Rancilio Silvia Pro stopped working. And just before the family beach trip - it would have been GREAT to have there! Nothing better than a good coffee in the morning while watching the waves and listening to the crashing of them. Sadly, this occured two months in - just past the return window for Amazon.I don't even know my options at this time. (when i do go through that rigmarole - i'll try to remember and update here...)

I have owned and operated a retail coffee shop for 25 years. When I decided that I wanted a home espresso machine, I went with the same brand that I use at my shop.

The hot water function doesn’t work and Rancilio’s warranty folks do not respond to requests for help. I want to love this machine but I may have to return it.

These reviews are for the Rancilio Silvia NOT the Rancilio Silvia PRO. They are completely different machines.The Silvia is the best value single boiler machine on the market and the Silvia PRO is the best value double boiler machine on the market BUT they are VERY different!!!

I replaced my Rancilio Silvia single boiler espresso machine with the Rancilio Pro.My previous machine was in dsily use for 10 years and still worked perfectly. I passed it along to a friend who loves it.The Pro is a huge improvement with 2 boilers instead of one, a PID that controls temperature of both boilers, has a wake up and cleaning function, and an improved barista quality steamer wand and addition of a hot water dispenser for Cafe Americano or hot tea, or just to warm your espresso cupsI am a home coffee roaster and need a machine that makes perfect espresso and cappuccino every time. The Pro is that machine. I ordered it on Amazon from Seattle Coffee Gear and they are great to work with. Google the Rancilio zoro on YouTube and see for your self.
