Bush Furniture Key West L Shaped Desk, 60-inch Modern Farmhouse Writing Desk for Home Office

I absolutely love this desk and I wish I could afford every other piece in the set to match - saving up at least for the file cabinet. It is sturdy and large enough to support all my work-from-home crap. My only gripe is that I need to have my chair higher with a foot rest for good body posture and ergonomics when I'm working, but there is a "support bar" (can't come up with the actual word at the moment) that cuts right across my legs. I had used the 48" W writing desk in my previous home since I had less space and actually kept the front "under desk support" out for my legs to fit. I figured I shouldn't do that or do my own cutout on the L-shape desk and have it potentially fall apart! One photo shows my legs tight under the desk, and then the other shows my writing desk (now placed over another storage unit) without that piece across the front. You can see that piece on the back side in the far right of the image.

The desk looks nice for the price until I got to the second to last part and the cam and screw holes did not line up . The customer service however was helpful but sadly the part I need is back ordered for two weeks. The customer service people were nice and after sending photos and proof of purchase, I am told I will be notified when the part ships. I am hopeful the replacement will allow me to finish assembling the desk. I will update this review after I get the new part. but for now I am sitting in a messy office with the table tops still in the huge box, I wisely did not dispose of my old ratty desk so I can still use my desktop.UPDATE: I did finally get my piece, however in removing the damaged piece to replace it with the new part I had to unscrew the cam for the screw and following the manufacturers direction to try and flip it out with a screw driver(or butter knife) it crumbled in the hole and will not come out. With some work I finally dug it out and got the desk assembled however two cams were destroyed because they were difficult to remove so I am asking manufacturer to send two new cams, but I am finally able to use my desk. I would recommend this desk only if you have help to move and assemble it, it looks nice and but as a very petite mature woman I over estimated my ability even though in the past I had no issues putting together any other furniture.

This desk is very nice looking and sturdy! The only thing I didn't like is the color. It is called "Bing Cherry" but has no hint of reddishness. It looks more like a dark walnut. It doesn't match my other wood. It is a beautiful desk though and you can't beat the price!

Easy to put together and very sturdy! Nice heady duty desk compared to some of the cheap stuff you get now. I bought it for a great deal and I love it!

It’s very nice however the 8” extensions on each end of the desk top puzzle me. The pictures are deceiving because you cannot tell they’re there but quite obvious after it’s put together. Really takes away from the beauty of desk and cheapens it. Not worth what I paid for it.

Beautiful,desk. Great size.However, it's very difficult to disassemble if you ever need to move it, due to the kd cam screws. Getting them out is a job.Also the bottom rails are not sturdy and seems like the holes for the kd cam screws are off.

So this is a sturdy desk, composite but thick and heavy. The instructions are ok, I won't say super easy but if you have common sense then it's not too hard.I had ordered a desk with a white base and a gray top but what arrived is a gray desk. It's fine, but the only downside is I ordered the top too and it's of a lighter color as it's white not gray.My only other complaints are they don't ship the tops as two pieces but four so you have two extra divots in the desk.The top is quite short, I know I don't have to put my tower under it or my monitor but I have reasons why it has to be on that wall with the computer. My standard size tower barely fit, and only after I took the legs off. My monitor won't at all.

This desk was bigger than I imagine and very sturdy. I have plenty of room in which to work.
