I adore this tool! Employing it to score my handmade cards has been fantastic. It's of excellent quality, slightly thicker than my usual scorer, but once I got accustomed to it, it does the job perfectly.

I use mine mainly for creating sharp creases in paper when creating folded shapes or when wanting to make a cleanly torn edge, using multiple folds to weaken the paper, rather than the severity of a scissor cut edge. It’s also ideal for smoothing out papers or other materials as they’re stretched or stuck over a surface and has well rounded edges to enable you to create excellent results.As with all tools, it’s only as good as the person using it, but in my opinion, for a relatively low cost entry level tool, this is an excellent choice and so far I’ve not found a scenario where it hasn’t performed as expected.

A solid 4 star item. It comes in a small felt drawstring pouch, and is a good fit for my XL hands. I gave it 4 stars overall because I had to file the point finer for my application. I realize that this is not a flaw of the folder, but I would have liked the option of a finer point. I make paper models, and use the bone folder to place creases on the fold lines, and as a flat to help shape the paper, 160 lb cardstock.
