Runs very small
I ordered this for my thin 7 year old and it barely fits. I am not sure if it's mislabeled or just runs tiny, but I don't think we'll get more than one season out of this. Disappointing, since it's an otherwise nice quality life jacket, and I do like the high visibility yellow color. I don't feel like dealing with the hassle of returning it, but if I had known this in advance I would have either sized up or purchase a different product altogether.

Sturdy Product
I took a good look at the stitching and we tugged and on all the straps and it was 100% tough. We had to return it as it was to small for my son, but I wanted to still give it 5 stars for its craftsmanship.

Safety first!
Excellent life vest for the boat. The lower straps adjust easily and stay tight all day. The upper strap may be somewhat small for older or larger kids, but does adjust and keeps the vest in place while in the water, we tested this on our 50 pound 5 yr old and it stays around his chest and not float up over his face like another vest did. I feel confident this vest will keep little ones safely afloat in emergency situations.

Good ship. I really thought there was a crotch ...
Good ship. I really thought there was a crotch strap but it turns out there isn't. The product would work much better if it had one. In hindsight, I would have bought a different one... but others may find it fits better so it doesn't need a crotch strap.

Fits well. Bought a size up to fit 45 pound 6 year old. Life vests are supposed to be snug which I think most kids find uncomfortable. We are just using for a pool while supervised, so got a size up. He likes it. Even without a crotch strap, it doesn't ride up. It's not uncomfortable. Great vest. He can get it on and off himself.

Tiene q existir una forma p q no rocen las axilas de los niños, mi pobre nieto padeció el nadar sin playera... es un articulo muy bueno pero.. como flota roza.OJOES UNA RECOMENDACION USAR MATERIAL MENOS ASPERO AL ROCE AXILAR.
