Sometimes you just need the right tool... for me this was that tool!
I'm trying to replace the exhaust fan motor in my attic but the fan blades were 'locked' on to the motor shaft by a 4mm hex set screw. I tried loosening it with every tool I had in my house that would fit and none would get enough leverage to crack the hold the screw had due to age or whatever. Even hit it with some WD-40 to try to loosen it to no avail. While I was in the hardware store buying another tool for this job I saw large sets of T-handle hex keys but I wasn't going to buy a full $40 set when I just needed one. Amazon to the rescue! Tool arrived this morning and I had the fan blades off in about five minutes. Woo Hoo!
