Finally! Someone made a comfort saddle with a strong shell and no hole in the middle. This deal is sturdy and comfortable. Now there's a winning combination. The strength of the solid shell does help to prevent back pain--because there's no crushing down, there's also no sliding foward. Like other C9 saddles, its a "cushy tushy" ride. Much unlike the others, this one is durable too. It can stand up to the force of an enthusiastic shoe attachment tug (pulling up when pedaling usually crushes comfort saddles), and this model doesn't give out. It also helps prevent sliding. SO, if you favor seated climbing AND want a padded saddle, well, buy it.This combination of saddle features is very rare.WTB's Jaxon 5 has a similar feature set, albeit a much different price.

I was looking for a comfortable seat as a replacement for my stock seat on my new hybrid bike. My old bones expect more comfort than I guess is standard these days.The seat is a gel core wrapped in a leather-like shell on a hard plastic base. The metal mounting bracket underneath the seat is molded into the plastic shell, but it does have an adjustable bracket. The cover has a textured finish that prevents slipping, but seems tough enough not to wear out any time soon.It looks like a good seat at a good price, and it is easy on my old bones.

I don't understand how people pay good money to buy those hard and thin hipster bike seat. They are tough and hard on my crotch. This padded seat is a big improvement over the original seat. I am big on comfort and this seat make me want to ride my bike more often again. Money well spent.

While this seat is pretty comfy for the price, 8 months in and it has developed a squeak. But I do ride pretty often, 5 days a week, 25-40 miles, rain or shine. So it got abused pretty good. I'd say, realistically, 3 1/2 stars.

I was deciding on this sport seat or the suspension version of it. I bought the non-suspension version and is was great for a few miles but then felt just as hard as the non-padded stock seat. Two weeks later, I had the suspension version on my bike, huge difference! Save yourself the time & money and just get the suspension version the first time....

Comfortable, soft, easy to install

I replace the stock seat on my Diamondback Response Sport mnt. bike with this seat and it has been a very nice upgrade. I am a big rider (270lbs.) and this seat is very comfortable for me. It is sturdy and has good ergonomics and good padding.

I had another seat from Cloud9 on my other bike that was comfortable, recently got a new bike and wanted something that was more comfortable but matched the style of the new bike. This works great, looks stock but seems to have plenty of padding but still looks good
